1) Before pression Shift + K, you have to left-click in Viewport to make Viewport get focused, then press Shift + K. You'll see Keyboard Navigation icon on Toolbar is enabled.

DS 4 has no such behavior, so it's a bug to me in DS 6.

I always turned off keyboard nav in DS4 because I would get camera rotations (E) at random times when I thought the focus was elsewhere, such as the search bar in parameters. If the mouse drifted out of the search bar, the letters typed became navigation. I always considered that a bug.

I'd thought of insulating the two windows in my living room that look onto the other apartment's hot, enclosed porch. (Stupid design!  Caused by splitting the single family house into two apartments.)  Although, I never did, because another potential problem is moisture between the glass and the insulation promoting growth of mold.  Here's what GoogleAI mode says when I ask it "Report on possible issues with covering the inside of a window with reflective foam or fiber insulation."

Insulation is a good idea, but the best way to do that with windows, is replacing the entire window with reflective double or triple pane windows.  There is a dry gas between the panes.   However, $$$$  Or another possibility is a permeable insulation capable of breathing to avoid the moisture problem.

An application topic involves the processes of the application, not the data. You are requesting a data product. This is like saying you should post on a Microsoft Word Technical forum to ask whether "Accent" or "Ascent" is the proper way to spell a style of speech. The forum is for the process of string words together, no what words should be used.

I've been reading that thread on here about dForce, and it got me wondering about Magnet Deformers, wondering if there are any such threads that go deep into them, like working with Magnet Maps and stuff like that.  Also, how to create morphs from them and mirror them between limbs directly in Daz Studio.

I'm only after the free stuff, but unfortunately the search on here is as good as uselss to me most times, and so I've not found anything.  PDF or video, it doesn't really matter as long as it covers from the basics to the more advanced stuff I just mentioned.

Any info on this stuff much appreciated.

Internal view of organs are probably reall very hard to find. 

It's really high anatomy details, you should try in very specialized sites, I suggest medical research and each organ at a time. Gastro-enterology, colon specialists, oto-rhyno-largingologists and so on.

There are maybe RMI reconstruction in 3d ? But very possibly focused on diseases. 

I'm subscried to a dermatology forum : I think a lot of people here would faint just looking at the pictures !!

Daz is mostly specialized in semi-realistic skins and a very little bit of genital organs.

If I ever find something intersting I'll post.

Hair can be converted with any auto fit. The main problem is with SBH_Hair, where dforce is not converted with it.

I don't buy strand-based hair if I can identify it. Daz has way too many hair listings where it isn't obvious what kind of hair it is; for some reason, telling what sort of product it is is considered optional. So for me buying hair requires scrutinizing the listing, and guessing.

Naturally I buy a lot less hair than I used to. It's inefficient and chancy to shop for it.

I was going to apply an adjective following the word 'extraordinarily' to these practices, which bounce along the bottom of good sense right down there with making it hard for customers to search and categorize the items they want to buy, but I imagine you can easily fill in your own unflatttering adjectives.

As a work-around I can tell you something I tried (this is on Chrome browser on a PC): if you type something in the search box for that filter it will find what you ask for, then if you blank out what you types suddenly the list is scrollable. But it does add a spurious entry at the top called (len)

I'm finding that I can browse the store on my Android tablet up until I try to search for anything or try to open my account tab. Instant seize and I have to close the tab.As I can't get into my wishlist through the account page I haven't seen if I have the same problem as noted in posts above. I've pretty much given up browsing the store unless I'm at my desktop.

Cheers Barbult, feels like luxury!   I also just noticed how much faster my internet is in this new flat since the signal here is way better!
Plus, from my window I now see treetops of the nature reserve that I live just one minute away from (and that's on foot), so I might start a thread in the Art Studio forum after all.  I could always fill it with some wildlife snaps whenever I'm short of renders to post!

...not sure if this has already been mentioned, but it would be very helpful if there was a filter for the main categories of conent (based on the little icoms at the bottom of the store thumbnails) like props, environments. hair, clothes, etc.  When looking do a specific prodct types, like "Hair", one has to sift through pretty much everything in the store which takes a lot of time and can be dscouraging..

Using the store search does not always give the best results.

Not 'disable', remove.

If it is disabled it isn't doing anything at all. You could remove the matching .dll, but any update will reinstall it.

I asked because crash log I get every few hours when Daz closes unexpectedly after I click something or select something mentions "libdsp_dzaichatpane.dylib" - And I've already disabled it, and restarted a few times (Daz and Computer)

Mentions it as a culprit or mentions it in the list of plug-ins? It gets noticed, otherwise it wouldn't show in Help>About Installed Plug-ins to be reactivated, but it isn't active (which is why you have to restart DS for an activation or deactivation to take effect).

Dropping the crash log into ai returns that file as the culprit. I'm in no position to interpret the log. That ai is disabled in Daz, and the box next to it is not checked when I go to About Plugins after restart.

I would trust AI about as far as I could throw a server rack - what does the actual crash dialogue say?

Interesting, since Daz trusted AI enough to include it in the app. I'll look for more detail.

and I have used Victoria on th wsaite (same thing) - but it can give wrong answers, or fail to address the question, and I wouldn't trust it without verification (it is a good way to search the forum, though, which is self-verifying).

No, it's more the thwack of leather on willow, or is that willow on leather, or as both leather and willow are moving at the same time is it both? Unless of course the batter is playing defensively in which case the bat may be still so it's leather on willow. Of course you have to remember to oil up the willow before you start, with linseed oil I believe is the preferred product.

Honestly, I feel like asking for anything at this point is kind of like shouting into an echo chamber. I mean, for years I've been suggesting that DAZ really needs to update the User Manual to something that's less than 13 years out of date and doesn't even mention the now default render engine and focuses on one that's now no longer even supported.  And yet, here we are now with DAZ Studio 6 and the most recent UM is still the update created for DS 4.6.  Likewise, we've all been commenting for years that the store search engine is a mess and when we finally get an update to the Product Library, it drops useful features that previously existed and slows the whole thing down like mollases in Antartica in June.. It's all very depressing...
