DAZ Studio 4.9 - question on original (vendor) content folders with selfmade jpegs in it

I have a some original vendor folders in my content in which I have copied and edited textures of the original textures, will installing DS4.9 has any influence on this?

I have the edited textures in these original folders because I often just change the diffuse maps so it is quite easier to have all maps of a clothe or hair item in one folder, also the edited versions.

    Installing 4.9 will not change anything to the content you have already installed.

    New content installed with DIM or manual install will continue to work in the way it did before.

    For new content installed via Connect (encrypted or not) I'd suggest storing your own files outside the Connect folder and using smart content / categories / links to have them useable from the same place in your library.

    I will wait until most of the bugs will be fixed, so I will download 4.9 in one or two month
