There was a bigger discount on new releases during PA sale, hence why it looks more expensive.
To be fair though Zeddicusget often a pretty good discounts so this is probably by design.
It's not your imagination. The prices have been increasing steadily, but most of the time it's partially masked by DAZ discounting.
The win-win position would be someone who almost wanted two new releases at the intro price and is tipped into actually getting them by the offer - they get extra content, Daz gets extra revenue. Obviously people who really don't want today's items at today's prices by a wider margin will not find the offer atttractive.

I am always on here railing about the lack of filatoon support. Poses don't increase my filament shader counts but I want to encourage G9 toon support. What to do!!

The most annoying thing about the QG sale isn't the format. It's the timing. I grabbed what I wanted yesterday. There's nothing, not even with an additional 30% or 50% off, that I want _today_.

To save others needing to experiment with today's GC offer for max discount:
If you have D+/Premier, a GC over $300, and one of today's new releases in cart, the total discount for GC is 27%
If you just D+/Premier, over $300, no buy-in, it's 19%
Tokens also matter. The new release will be discounted by tokens.

You do get at least a 5% discount without buying anything else (more if you're Daz+ / Premier and/or it's a $300+ gift card).
what is the catchup flash coupon you talk about. i dont see any coupon for today.
I think it's the same one that was up Monday & Tuesday. Looks like it ended at Daz midnight. Oh well.
I am still debating whether to get just a D+ for the OS/QG but there's only a handful I want so not much of an incentive. No extra money to get a big GC
& if I did have lots of spare cash I'd buy Christmas gifts early instead.

There it is, the new Character Bundle I've waited for THE WHOLE LAST MONTH!!!! Love Lilith, but she won't bring me back into Premier, where Daz thinks, I should pay $199 a year, but the included features like a new character bundle I can use my coupon on, are purely optional from their side.
Sorry, Daz - my wallet will remain closed, as it does most days here anymore. If this was a desperate attempt to pry it and others open, then perhaps you should have actually delivered on the concept. :|
I'm thinking Monday is more likely. They rarely launch something that big into the weekend.
From my perspective, do the math: if you put all that you're interested in into the cart, would half of that value cover the membership? If yes, it's probably worth it as you also get 2 coupons. If not, then I'd wait, especially if most of the items are OS, and not QG. Daz anniversary sale is bound to start soon, and there might be membership deals.

Yesterday's sale is named Huge Gift Card Fill Up Pre-holiday Sale, so if seems expected that one big sale is on the horizon, possibly starting tomorrow (which was when the monthy freebie was supposed to be made available before appearing yesterday).
I just know if I purchase a month's membership they will make a good offer for nonmembers next day

Yeah, wait to sub if you're sub lapsed. Frankly, the fact that you can't "extend" a membership makes it really annoying when the sales don't line up day to day year to year. Especially if you need the premiere tools in DS. It's almost user hostile.
If it's outlet and not QG, you still have over 3 weeks. The anniversary sale will hopefully start soon, and maybe some good discount on memberhsips.
Unless you aren't planning to buy the yearly one no matter the potential discounts. I doubt there's going to be any offer on the monthly membership.

I mostly just join for a month a couple of times a year but if the discount is good enough will do a year as Australian dollar it's quite a lot otherwise
Then I'd definitely wait. Outlet items will (should, I think once Daz removed some DOs from OS, but I might remember wrong) be there until the end of the month, so you'll have time to pick them up too. My yearly membership expired this week too, so I'm waiting to see if there are any offers during the anniversary sale (and if Jack Tomalin's vague statement is to believed, it's coming) before comitting to another year.
I'm in the same situation. My yearly membership expired this week as well (a day before it was supposed too so I didn't get this months fee character bundle or use the coupons
). If there is a good sale on annual memberships I'll rejoin for a year, if not I'll just do 2-3 months for the sales I like.
I have similar thoughts. I have tokens expiring very soon, so the anniversary sale starting (tomorrow, please :D ) and a good offer on membership would definitely see me spending money.
As for the memberships ending, not everyone is aware that they end at UTC midnight (which is around 6-8pm of the previous day for those in the US) rather than Daz midnight, so it might feel like a day early because of the time difference while it's actually on time.
