I've picked up a few items - mainly GT items. There are great deals to be had on artist store items - but I already bought everything in the Daz store.
(OK, not ... everything, but you know what I mean.) I'm in need of a sale that includes wishlist items that are still "New" which, as I recall, hasn't really been a thing with the PA sale in the past either.
...raises hand, I only I have those that are sets or props (though I did pick up RawArt's Nyxii - Robot Girl as she works fine "out of the box").
I'm in sort of the same situation as far as the store goes. I have a huge library of purchased content from DAZ, and I'm not a huge fan of stuff that's G9 only, so a lot of the new releases don't do much for me, while the way DAZ has restricted the Featured Artist sales to older products has me looking at a lot of empty or nearly empty stores. or ones filled with texture sets and expression packs. However, all of the GT's have been good enough bargains that I know I'll probably find a use for them eventually, and with the way the orange banner offers, tokens, and other promos keep breaking down, there's been enough of stuff in the FA sale that works out to be in the $2 to $3.50 price range, and I do try to support the artists who are still supporting G8 in new releases. So, I keep going back to all the Renderosity items that moved over and doing cross checks with Taozaen's DAZ/Renderosity duplicate utility and keep managing to find a few things that I didn't purchase when they were over there... today's cart has a couple of G8 outfits by DZheng and Sveva, for example. But yes, the end result is that this sale is definitely not in the same league as past FA sales have been for me personally.
I'm signed on for G9, but I mainly need hair and attire for male characters, for stories set in historic/retro settings, so pickings are slim for me.

I feel your pain. The number of vendors who make male clothing has become limited enough, but historically accurate clothes for either sex are just as hard to find. Heck, "historically accurate" anything that's not an ancient castle, tavern, or something to do with vikings, priates, or ancient Greece or Rome often means going back to assets that were made 10 years ago, and even contemporary clotihing goes through that weird DAZ filter where every other male outfit is either wearing shorts, a skintight bodysuit, or lacking a shirt. I mean, I get that the probability is that around 80% of what's done with DAZ at this point must be pin-up type work given what seems to sell, and I know that in the real world only 17% of the live fashion models are male, but in the real world the discrepency isn't nearly as extreme, with adult female clothing taking up a little over 50% of the market, adult male clothing taking up about 30% and the rest going to chldren.
I took advantage of today's offer and bought the Debut New "Lala Dunhuang Apsara Bundle for Genesis 9". Although it cost an extra Old Gold Ticket, it was still a good deal.
Today's promotion: Debut New $7.99 + Old Gold Ticket $4.99 = $12.98.

Saved money and tokens
My stories are generally set in "like our world, but not this world" locations, which gives me some degree of freedom when it comes to what's in those worlds. I still want "era-appropriate" to the modern eye, which leaves me picking through minimal offerings here at Daz for what are obviously times, places and things that have small potential markets. I definitely have sympathy for those looking for truly period-accurate items.
yeah, but the offer is stupid anyhow. It brings the bundle down to 7.99$, but all other new releases as well which makes the pricier than with tokens.
...same here even for female clothing when t comes to "pin up" styles. Too many plunging necklines (almost to the belly button in some cases). Styles that expose the belly and/or show more cleavage than necessary (particularly for the latter clothing like office wear and uniforms), Extreme skimpiness that with overage smaller than a napkin would provide, and high or spike heels on just about everything from medical fantasy clothing (even armour) to futuristic sci-fi (if someone just made practical generic footwear for various genre I'd be a regular customer of theirs),.
If the offer was for 1 item, sure. But it's for up to 5 items. And most items are cheaper than $7.99 with tokens. And if you buy anything else, like something in the featured artists store for 30/40% off, you'll use the tokens anyway. They have a sales event where they are trying to get someone to buy more than one item based on the variety of offers, but this offer works against buying multiple items.
I don't feel like creating a new thread for just that, because maybe I'm an isolated case, so: does anyone have an issue where opening a thread in the forums (I usually do it in a new tab) creates an empty draft in your drafts?

TIL there's a drafts container in the forums options wheel. Who knew?
I have 173 drafts and that tracks. I frequently have unfinished posts that I abandon as the conversation moves on (or dies). Only a handful seem to be empty drafts.
Now how do I mass delete 173 drafts?
Oh you absolutely do know the answer to that!
Sometimes it leaves a drft even after posting - I suspect it is if it wa saving just as you submitted the post. No mass delete, but click the x and hit enter will clear one leaving the mouse in place to hit the next x (how fast that goes varies).

Yes, DAZ's "special offers" are often not actually discounts; the offer only becomes meaningful because I happen to want to buy that bundle.
Therefore, I was quite surprised that this special offer actually worked.
Not sure what you mean by special offers. Most of them offer some savings. Sometimes they are aimed at one time buyers and sometimes they're aimed at we fish.
For example, today's "Today's Specials" includes Oodles of Gadgets: Extra 20% off up to 5 with Speed Instancer.
Most items are at their original price, which is considered a good scenario; usually, it's "all items are at their original price."
These "Today's Specials" sections often turn artist merchandise that's currently on sale into "full price." For example, once with a water-related theme, PW was having a sale, but all of PW's boat and sea-related sale items were put into "Today's Specials" and priced at full price.
These "Today's Specials" items have become today's particularly expensive items.
Except that they remove all previous discount before the sale. A lot of the time a product is cheaper before the "sale", especially when they put a price floor on it.

If anyone is a fan of Aeon Soul's stuff like I am I recomend that you sprint to the sale page. Aeon Soul has almost everything at around $4 per set before daily coupon or tokens!!! I got a pile of them for around $1.50 each!
I had a big cartload earlier and was ready to check out, then I came back after brewing some coffee and grabbing a tasty snack (apple turnover with a little vanilla ice cream) and the prices tripled. oh well. dumped the cart, money saved. if i wait long enough everything winds up in the outlet store or quick grab anyway.
For those who passed on the MB Daniella bundle because of age-related concerns (and are willing to pay more in a potential Golden Ticket catch-up), there was an update to the character part of it:

What was deemed inappropriate? I don't see anything wrong with it. She's a young teen character with an age appropriate shape. It's not like she was shipped with genitalia morphs.
Where did the bold text come from? It looks like something you pasted from somewhere else. I'm curious where.
Based on my research they removed Nipples Apply.duf and Nipples Remove.duf. They are still mentioned in the README web page. But no textures are listed for nipples under Runtime so I presume the product was using the g9 base assets for that. Either that would they partially updated the readme.
There were morphs for the clothing, that are still shown in the pictures. Some people complaind about that, which is ridiculous if that is what they removed, because the clothing morphs should be able to be used with an adult G9 character. I didn't buy it so i don't know, but if that is what they removed and I paid for it I would request a refund.
