Isabella 9 

Character Bundle, Other bundle, Other-other bundle

I had a few vouchers and tokens to use up, so ended up with the first two bundles above

    Yes, it’s strange that no one has written anything about Isabella 9 so far. I like her more robust build and the fact that she looks more ‘normal’ compared to other Daz girls. Even so, I’ve put Isabella on the back burner for now; I simply have far too many white female base figures. I managed to get the rest of the character bundle very cheaply using a voucher and tokens; I had to get dForce Flutterfall Outfit for Genesis 9 from the add-on bundle as well.

    I like the idea (as a complement to Bastian 9?) of introducing a fairy-tale theme, although I can’t really relate to it myself.

    I wait for a "male" 9 but Isabella 9 arrived. With the discounts and tokens I decided to get "Isabella 9 character bundle". I think she is good for Sci-Fi scenes... and more.

    I like the softness of her face and that she's got something of a fifties pin up about her. Very nice hairs in the bundles, dresses (not the armor, geeee ....) also good. But as others said elsewhere, we've had all of this before, in hundreds of variations, The character bundle went on my WL, basically for the hair and for the character morph.

    I rather like the character, hair and clothes. The torso part on the armor I find ridiculous, but the rest of the outfit is usable, even the heels are not that bad.

    That could well be the case. She looks a lot like her, and the shape of her head and face – which is almost the most important thing when it comes to resemblances – is the same too. I’m not all that interested in Hollywood films and US TV series, so I hadn’t noticed it.

    Normally I have issues with the 'shoot me here' neon highlights or cut-outs, here it was a slice/stab me on the side.     There were a few comments by some of us in the main sales discussion thread yesterday.

    I found some similarities to Snow Queen 9, starting with both being fantasy themed. The characters are about the same height and look a little alike. The alt shapes are similar ages too. SQ has child, teen, and elder, while Isabella has an elder alt shape plus the Premier exclusive is a child. I also thought the face vaguely reminded me of Arianna 8.1, who also has a fantasy bundle. 

    Still probably going to get a Premier month & pick up Isabella's character bundle, for the other items. I like the add-on bundle too. It's large since it includes the fantasy environment bundle. I can't afford that bundle until next month but I might pick up the fairy gown & wings with a code now.

    I really had no use for the character herself and was only going to buy the add-on bundle... mainly for the included castle bundle... but I had this month's Premier Character Bundle coupon that I hadn't used yet, so I ended up buying add-on bundle for $15.14 after all the coupons and tokens were stacked up and then got the character bundle on a seperate invoice for free.  All together, that worked out to 12 items at $1.27 each. How does DAZ make any money on that, even after the cost of the Premier Membership is deducted?  Darned if I know.

    Gone back to Daz 4.24. I can't deal with how slow Daz 6 is. Many days later, here are a few test pics to add to the thread...

    The hair is nice but very hard to pose, I think I just ended up sticking some flowers in front of where it was intersecting with her chest: 

    Compared to her older and child version:

    Compared to the Ice Queen:

    Using her child morph on another character (Angela 9), simalar to the ice queen kiddo, this one lets you make a whole slate of creepy kids. The child in the middle is Yuxi.

    Pretty dress:

    Thanks for sharing these renders! 

    Even with the same hair, I don't see any resemblence between Isabella and Snow Queen. I'm glad I got Isabella.

    Is there maybe anyone out here who had a look at the Isabella Bundle and would know which skin / makeup was used in these gorgeous hair promos: https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-lumiere-hair-for-genesis-9 ? The hair is fantastic of course, but the skin of the model in the main promo shot looks sooo great as well, and that lipstick! Is it Isabella's skin with someone else's foundation and lipstick?

    @chevybabe25, if you happen to pass by, I'd really love to know, and also, your promo shots are such a great character combo inspiration, thanks for always giving us the mix in the picture's text!

    That was not Isabellas skin.  Daz gave me the shape to work with prior to the textures being complete.  The skin is Mira 9.  The makeup which I use very often is Victoria 9's makeup maybe with some adjustments on color with the LIE manager found here:  https://www.daz3d.com/lie-makeup-manager

    Also... thank you for the kind words!!! You guys like em, so Ill keep doing em :) I think 65% on most of these is the sweet spot for mixing.

    Edit: I'm just thinking, since not just the character mixes are great, maybe you'd be up for creating a new lighting kit or tutorial for your portrait renders? They're stunning!

    Not only do I enjoy using your hair sets, but your character blends have inspired me to try similar ones.

    Nice renders, you're right about the creepy kids lol. Dont know why they give kid morphs such chiseled jaw and broad shoulder.
