OS changeover occurred last night but pricing is wrong in many newly-added items. In the sale reporting thread, Richard reports the pricing problem has been reported. Maybe fixed Daz soon. Also, QG is still the same as it's been for almost 2 weeks. No changeover yet. Everything's under control, situation normal in the Daz store. frown

Daz can take all weekend to fix it. I will  just grab some of the old OS still sitting in my WL

i See a LOT of newly added stuff in the Outlet though as mentioned prices are normal prices and some have standard discounts me wondering if the new addings are a mistake glitch has happened before also is there another big sale coming up? As I have noticed that can play havoc with Outlet and Quickgrab and even some items disappearing from Outlet as they are connected to whatever sale and jump up in price seen that happen several times and yeah QG unchanged still

The pricing issue has been reported, and Daz are aware of the report. I don't have a timeline for a fix, but the items will of course be available in the category for some time.

Yes. I wrote this above: Richard reports the pricing problem has been reported. Maybe fixed Daz soon.

    Good to have confirmation.

I'm looking at an Outlet selection with a large number of full priced items. Doesn't sound very outlety to me.

I'm guessing that with the change over being on the weekend and whatever broke may not be an easy fix, so I wouldn't expect a quick turnaround on this. It might now get sorted out till Monday. The main "outlet" generally run all month, so it's not a huge deal.

It's still annoying though. I make a list of items I want and add some to my cart if I'm within a buck or two of getting a token. Better still, if I can spend a token and get another, a $1 item is practically free. That of course requires the outlet to be priced correctly...

That's how I see it. I would be surprised if it's fixed before Monday. It would be a nice surprise, though!

There's a glitch with the August selection staying at current non-Outlet prices. The good news is the July OS items are still at Outlet prices - I just checked out with several. To find them, go to the main store page and Sort Low to High, then scroll past the free items. (The price filter is balky so I don't bother with it.)

Richard, thanks for keeping us posted

The real question is, will QG refresh tonight? Wait to find out!

If it does, absolutely nobody gets to complain that they didn't have enough time LOL.

But if it changes on time, I'll definitely be totally surprised. xD (Sorry, couldn't resist given it hasn't been fixed for a week, and so far, Outlet isn't fixed either.)

I don't want to browse the 34 pages, is too much for me.

Yes, but they do not show in either QG or OS. They are listed in the PA's store (PAMAWO) at $1.99 emblazoned with the OS logo.

Still no change to OS prices and QG items. And still no explanation from Daz?!? That’s really unbelievable. It can happen that a section completely crashes and it takes a while to sort out the problem. In that case, a reputable company keeps its customers informed. At least, that’s how it is where I live. And that’s where Daz wants to do business, after all. Wake me up when OS and QG are working again, or if Daz deigns to issue a statement. Thank you.

Perhaps they're sulking because of recent PA announcements laugh

I suspect the long delays fixing issues are from rolling the server at midnight to prep new day's sales during the store's quietest hours, and the problems can't get fixed until tech people are back in the office. They could solve it by having two production environments, with tomorrow's sale already staged and tested, and just switch a pointer at midnight to instantly change over. But if they didn't build it like that already, it's probably a lot to retrofit.

At any rate, I hope the items that are in Outlet at the wrong prices stick once prices are fixed, there's a lot on my wishlist. :)

There are a ton of ways they could make the store work most mornings and make periodic update work most times. Storefronts are basically a solved problem on the web, I would think. I can't understand how these problems crop up over and over.

Well, if your staff consists of one person on nightshift, then it's easy to understand.

  • also, supposedly they have 132 employees according to this site, other sources say between 50 and 200. So they surely have enough employees to keep things running smoothly if they wanted to

But if 131 of those 132 are not in the web-related departments, and the rest is on vacation... ;)

  • I'm NOT spending one red cent here until Daz gets fixes this - QG and OS - and I expect some explanation for it, not holding my breath though. I also expect some kind of compensation for they being - can't use the word I want as they post will be deleted but you get what I mean. To do this, have errors ALL THE TIME - my boyfr laughed when I told him about that's there's a well visited thread just to report errors here lol. Had a long vent to him about being a faithful customer here, the challanges... To take away the Daz plus sale in the summer - to take away - or so it seams - gift card sales w no buy in, to in so many exemples make it less worth our while being customers here with NOT ONE SINGLE EXPLANATION given...

And now the misery, sorry, w QG and OS... No change on QG and no low prices at OS..... NO explanation for it... d after d coming here hoping it will be fixed but no....

And I can report that on open source vivaldi web browser it's almost impossible to reach the cart, I cl and cl and cl an no. Could be vivaldi only error but somehow I doubt it...

Feels like they don't care about their customer one bit.

    Just saying.

Been a LOYAL customer here for ys and ys, spent an, for me, insane amount on Daz stuff considering I don't sell my art.

Will keep coming here hoping for the best, buying stuff IF IT'S AT ALL POSSIBLE.

SO that's gives me the right to speak my mind.
Hoping someone get a chance to read this before it's deleted by mods.

Honesty might not be appreciated here.

still a Daz studio fanheart, but struggling.

maybe the store glitches are features not bugs. some kind of hype building, getting people to talk about it. checking back the forums several times a day. they create a captive audience and it works as seen here continuously. other sites people check the sales for maybe 10 minutes a day to see if anything on the wishlist is on sale, and to see if any new items are of interest. But here it is an all day gabfest of what is going on with the daz store, and they create a virtual event everyday of the sale. it works so why would they change it?

There's a QG discount today, so hurry up and grab yours if you haven't already!

QG prices appear fixed but it's the same rubbish that's been there for two weeks.
