What is your comic @Disciple?  Where can I see it?

It's not on the web, and no plans to present it there... not yet, anyway.  My story has a reluctant super heroine, but it's developing more into a graphic novel than a comic.  You can find bits of it in my tiny gallery, and my protagonist peppers my trail through the forums.  She's been through wardrobe and hairstyle, shown up at artist salutes, freebie exchanges, and art discussions.  Here's a frame from her origin story, before the transformation.

I can't afford the time commitment required to maintain a regular webcomic schedule, but a financial change of tide could alter the future.  Thanks for asking.

That's FG High Tech Science Lab she's running, but enough about my characters. This thread is for Charlotte.

It's too bad you don't have the time to devote to it.  Would be interesting.

Somehow the phrase 'All downhill from here' rises to the surface.

As usual, really good posing, dynamic camera shots even with static poses, believable story steps and good story. Thanks for sharing.

    Regards,

    Richard

Thanks for your kind words, Richard.  I intentionally tried to vary the camera angles precisely because they are just sitting there talking.  Staging the whole conversation from the exact same pov would have been another choice, but not one I'm particularly interested in.

I have been informed by @richardandtracy that some people cannot access charlottesmagiclife.com.  If you are having this problem please let me know.  I am trying to research this.

I can see the image here in the forum and the page loads, but the images aren't displaying on the page itself.
If I try to access the linked images directly, I get a "400 Bad Request" error with the message: "Sorry, the parameters you provided were not valid."
The image URL I tested is: https://i0.wp.com/charlottesmagiclife.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Bag18Page_1.webp?ssl=1

Older entries such as https://charlottesmagiclife.com/comic/baggage-they-meet-again/ do work... very slowly.

The website issue could be down to the host, but just so you know, a whole bunch of your images are missing from this thread, and have been for some time now!

For what it's worth: I was able to reach your site Sunday night, but it was very very slow to load.

Today, it loaded normally, with decent speed.

This is getting weirder.  I tried it with various browsers and got a variety of results.
Opera (my default)  Everything looks great.
Chrome  Timeout when going directly to site.  From forum I'm seeing what everyone else is seeing.  Broken media links, timeouts from embedded links.

    From my work computer
Chrome Success when going directly to site, from forum,  bad media links timeouts from embedded links.
    Edge  Complete mess.

Might have something to do with caching.  I'm no expert.

I use Firefox, and I've never seen bad media links or timeouts like you describe. Sunday was the first time there's been any sort of issue.

I am from Denmark. Tried Chrome, Firefox; Edge and a 4th. No luck.

And I have been able to see all the previous.

    @richardandtracy @felis
Are you timing out or are you getting in and seeing nothing?

I usually see what I showed in the two images above. Just blank in the thread, occasionally an image missing outline after 2 minutes plus of waiting. On the CML website I only get the 'Site Can't be Reached' message shown above.

    Richard

    Firefox, USA.

Ping, layout, text, banner, thumbnails, backdrop, they all arrive in that order, between long delays.
