Not a coder so no idea what this means other than none of the bridges work anymore.

They need to update soon. The way I temporary fixed the compiler error was first, I searched in my unity's project for "SimpleJson". You should get hopefully 3 files in results. Find the "SimpleJson.asmdef" and look at the inspector. Uncheck "Auto Reference" and click apply. From here, it worked for me. Good luck.

Is it already possible, or are there ways, to work with hair in a more automated way using Unity? I remember having a lot of shader problems...

DAZ to Unity Bridge only seems to work for DS 4.# and is not usable for DS 6. I can't find anything in the DAZ strore to update the one they have there. Not able to get the Send To - Unity to work/show up at all.

Hope you can still use Daz Studio 4.x to transfer to Unity..

Just wonder what would be the advantage to use bridge from DS 6.

It probably will take a lot of time to update all the plugins to work with DS 6.

Use the standard FBX export. For hair, Unity has its own very realistic solution. For clothing, use Marvelous Designer. For form-fitting garments, use Daz itself. For loose items—skirts, capes, and the like—use the 'Magica Cloth 2' asset.

It’s not the ideal workflow—Daz could do much better than it currently does (they don't because they don't want to; Daz's goal remains focused on static image rendering rather than animation—just look at the absurd, inexplicable limitations regarding the timeline and curves, not to mention the "last-century" physics compared to something like Cascadeur, etc.).

For now, that’s the reality. I hope they change this in the final version (if it ever happens) of Daz 6. Though I highly doubt it!
