Reinstalling Daz

I have the previous version of Daz Studio, but because of my humongous library, the loading process took FOREVER. So I'm getting a separate C drive just for Windows, which I do NOT want to put Daz Studio on. How do I install DS to one of my basically empty drives? Thanks!

Set the software base path in the Advanced settings in DIM, if you mean the application and plug-ins. Or are you meaning content?

not exactly what I was going to ask but close enough.
    ---
the first couple installs of the alpha I did worked and then they would not show the base window.
by base window I mean the one with the file edit commands along the top
did a single screen layout and still that screen would only show up when you use ctrl-Q and then as a two inch wide quarter inch high saying are you sure you want to quit.
    ---
    both 4s work fine.
    ---
So before I install the new 6
what should I pull out of roaming so the new installer has nothing to retain and does a totally fresh install?
Obviously all the old alpha folders from the program files and anything relating to them from the roaming data.
Is there something in the daz libary folder to clean out?
So basically return the system to what it was before any alphas were installed.
    ---
Just updated the public build beta it opens, shows the scene window and content lib where they should be.
    but not the main window.
opened 424 reset it to a single monitor layout saved and closed
Will now see if that resets the betas to the same layout (I did before and it didn't work)/.

Okay, neither 6alpha or 6 a public have any user layouts in roaming other then default startup
    ---
    And makes no difference.
Using F3 to open setting there is a reset to default but it take great glee in telling me that it will default to the original version of the last selected layout which. The one that doesn't work

At this point it would seem I have to purge all d6 alpha beta etc folders . . . anywhere else to look beside roaming and program foldlers?
image 1 all I get with alphas, scenery pane, content dragged from second monitor to show in picture
image 2 424 same layout but with main window
image 3 reset layout to single monitor works in 424 but alpha not acknowledging new settings
    ---
is there an ini file anywhere?
Obviously if I can't get the window that allows me to change the layout, I can't change it
is it hardcoded once the layout is chosen?
