Missing files from Daz

wildbillnashwildbillnash Posts: 784

A while back I purchased the Delta Bodysuit Genesis 8-8.1F and G9 and an In-Style bodysuit, which might be the same item. A couple of weeks ago I was having trouble with OneDrive so I moved the Daz Studio folder to my D-drive. Yesterday I noticed several items, clothes, props, etc., missing their product image. So, today I decided to get the image back. First, there was no options to download the bodysuits from the program so I uninstalled both of them. When I went to DIM to reinstall them, they weren't listed. I went to my products list on Daz Studio and they are nowhere to be found. I searched for Delta Bodysuit Genesis 8-8.1F and G9 and it shows I have to buy it all over again.

What's going on here? Do I have to purchase all the products again that are missing their product images?

The product beginning with "In-Style" is a texture packs for the main item (Delta Bodysuit Genesis 8-8.1F and G9) so they are not the same but one does require the other. There are also a few other texture packs for this beginning with "Versus" and "Fashion".

It looks like all of these were migrated from Renderosity so could you have purchased them there?

If you are sure that you purchased them from Daz (and can hopefully find an emailed reciept / order number) then they only way to fix that is to raise a sales ticket.

Moved to Technical Help since it is about products rather than the application as such.

Emailed receipt. Hah! That a good one.

No, I didn't get them from Renderosity. I bought them on Daz Studio. But why did they disappeared from my Product Library on Daz? In the past when I uninstalled a product, it was immediately available to download on DIM. But that's not the case. And I hate to try to correct all the other files if I stand a chance of losing them as well.

I'm going to go back to the program and get a screenshot of the situation to see if you can help.

Oh, Richard, thanks for rerouting my ticket. Forgot about the Techincal forum part. I just wish Daz had a way of letting us know about it.

    Hi Richard,

Here's an example of my problem. Do you know how I can get the product image back?

f you type sku:: followed by the SKU number from the product page into the filter box in DIM does anything appear in any of the tabs? Is the product in your Product Library in your account page here?

Products transferred from Rendo doesn't have metadata, and netiher a product icon.

Then I had bought them on Daz because they did have a product icon.

And now I am missing a lighting set, and I didn't do a thing to try to get it working. Instead of missing icons, it wasn't connecting to something. Sorry, I don't remember what the product was called or what the specifics of the problem. All I know it was several ball shape lights that aimed down, right, left, up, etc.

I think there is something in this program that is eating away my products!

"Product tansferred from Renderosity" iisn't saying you bought them at Renderosity, it is saying that they were part of a group of products brought over from Renderosity to Daz by the PA in a bulk move and that they were not given metadata or thumbnails when they were added to the Daz store, so they won't have those in the content panes.

Have you checked DIM using the SKU filter as I suggested in my previous post, or checked your content library page here?
