Brilliant! I was worried it was going to be about rugby...
the bad gateway where the real Humpty Dumpty resides !
I modelled the humpty dumpty canon with the cube a while ago but can't remember if I posted it or not.
I don't remember seeing it before, but that could be just my failing memory and the incredible amount of stuff you create.
So, is it "Humpty Dumpty" sized or is it for shooting Humpty Dumpty? 'cause if it's the latter, it's easy to see why they couldn't put him back together again...
Cannon Theory: theory links Humpty Dumpty to a large cannon used during the siege of Colchester in 1648, which fell from a wall and could not be repaired.
the book of dread
from the cube with a morph to turn a page plus a couple more
yeah, I grew up being told he was a cannon not an egg
people tidied up nursery rhymes for kids
still didn't stop them telling us the origins of Ring ring a rosie though
eeeek!
I remember that from school kindergarten
Humpty Dumpty canon modelled from the cube
That's a lot of awesomeness for a Saturday night... but I guess it's Sunday morning for you lot.
Love the book, and I always enjoy seeing the two styles, that always turns out to be more than double the fun!
alien cubes everywhere!
Love the cast, especially Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle! Awesome!
Those darned reptilians are going to ruin everything!
It's interesting how the author thinks up a name
The name "Harry" is a medieval English derivative of Henry, originating from the Germanic Heimirich, meaning "home ruler" or "ruler of the enclosure." The surname "Vanderspeigle" is a variation of the Dutch Vanderspiegel, which translates to "from the mirror." The prefix van der indicates origin, while spiegel means mirror or looking glass. Together, the name evokes an individual who serves as a reflection or observer of human nature.
Very cool! I'm doing something similar (but simpler) naming my cast for "The Flynn's Folly Adventures" (Flynn's Folly is the ship). I picked "Flynn" whose familly has a motto (they have more than one) ""Non sine periculo" (Latin) — "Not without danger", which I thought was a cool motto for a small trader ship operating on the fringes of Compact Space; their Coat of Arms (Shield): Typically a blue (azure) shield featuring a silver (argent) wolf walking (passant) in the center, with three gold (or) coins (bezants) in the upper section (chief).
I took the idea of the wolf and the three gold coins and letting the coins be small gold "planets" (appropriate for a starship) and made the ship's logo:
All in all, I took it to mean profit, but not without danger, with the wolf's head as a warning.
but who let the dogs out!
this is great... you sir, are the bestest at what you do and I love seeing your work.
Dino is more closely related to your pigeons
but otherwise, quire a bunch of woofers
Awesome, all my favourites! Well done, well done indeed!
Dino gets a special mention being Fred's pet and all plus I did have a mouse in the cat's render
which begs the question... was the Flintstones a look into the past or a look into our future!
Thanks, but it's not much compared to the modelling you do; as you can see, I got Mr. Gemini to help me with the research and final renders; he and Miss Type are working with me on a novel you inspired. Thanks to you, I'm having a blast!
There was a theory a few years ago that The Jetsons were the high-tech cloud-dwellers and The Flinstones were the primative ground-dwellers...
Music time on Hump Day
that first song always brought a lump to my throat
still does TBH
my Dad was the opposite but I lost him to cancer when I was 10
us kids were his whole world, so many memories doing stuff like camping and fishing
The playhouse he built us (he was a carpenter)
pool, wooden toys, campervan he fitted out
that's sad
one of my mum's was this one
that's a very touching tune
here's something different... my songs on soundcloud
listen to my album
Carrara Alphabet Riot in Sounds of Times Gone By
wow, Soundcloud wants me to pay for Pro to read the comments on my own stuff! seriously
not been there for over a decade
my cubed hot wheels car from 1970
Ha! Keep a'burnin' now, Keep a'turnin' now!
I posted the Carrara Cats render on another site and one of the comments was "Aww, no Simon's cat"
not knowing who Simon's cat is or who Simon is I needed to know....
The cube came forth and pushed and pulled polygons became Simon's cat.... boned and morphed
That's Saturday done and dusted
I'd totally forgotten about Simon's Cat! One more memory unlocked
Great job!
.. dont remmeber this ?? .. Thanx
