Cool, thanks. I added her and a few more to my directory.

Self-Edit due to the possible political nature of the character.

Thanks, but no thanks. It's bad enough having a Donnie 9 character. Let's have somewhere free of politicians. Regards, Richard.

I think she was close in a lot of ways, but the character's eye surrounds were not as sunken as on the real person, so it might not even be her.
Nevertheless, I've removed her just in case it was her.

Likenesses are likenesses, whether someone happens to like the parties likened or not.

This (and past threads like it) serve two primary purposes:

    1. Which models to use if you WANT your character to resemble X
    2. Which models to avoid if you DON'T want your character to resemble X

Arbitrarily leaving certain likenesses out defeats the whole utility of this thread as a useful resource. Especially regarding #2 above.

Feel free to message me the character and who you think it is. If she does look like the politician I will add her to my 3D celebrity directory. Most of us don't care whether or not anyone likes the politician, if it is a likeness, it should be posted here, end of story.

Well, I suppose Daz Originals do have a "Donnie", so I'm guessing it's safe to post this as long as we don't actually talk about politics.

DISCLAIMER : There's a lot of men who see Angela as a bit of a 'Wild Bird' with an attitude, so there's a very real danger they could overload the Daz Servers if they were find out there's an Angela on here with full anatomical texture mats!  I therefore take no responsibility for any server overload, should nDelphi give her the likeness seal of approval.

So who is she, well, I do think Feng's Tess could be inspired by Angela Rayner.  I've attached an image of both, so easy to open in separate tabs and switch back and forth between them.  The thing with Angela Rayner is she has distinctive lower face shape. placement, and proportion that I've only ever seen on her, so this looks pretty much spot on to me:  Eye Colour, Philtrum, Lip Shape, Jaw Shape and Jaw Size, Chin Shape and Chin Size, Cheek Shape and Cheek Bones, Nose and Nostrils. and even the crease of the chin below the bottom lip - so that's quite a lot really.

So I reckon that if Angela was a Brunette, she'd be Tess, and if Tess were a Redhead, she'd be Angela.  Either way, I doubt either of them would take much adaption to look like the other, and must admit she looks pretty good as a Brunette!

It's practically her. LMAO I can see a very close resemblance. Change the hair and eyebrow colors to red and it's as if the modeler sculpted her. Great catch. I will be adding her as soon as I can to my directory. Thanks.

Haha, great stuff.  And to be fair to her, I think as long as she retained the black hair, she'd make a great 'Spy Agent' type character looking pretty damn sly  :-D

I would really like to have a 1990 Mariah Carey and a "21 Jump Street" Holly Robinson.

    Mariah Carey & Holly Robinson

    Mariah Carey & Holly Robinson

Also, I would like to have a word or two with whoever had both of them in the same room together and only took one picture.

Always thought Holly was awesome. Also, hated Mariah from the moment she totally ruined "without you", originally by Badfinger (and it's best cover being made by Heart, which is very loosely the version Mariah based her pos on). So I think even that one image is already more of a disgrace to Holly than necessary..

I think you'll find the definitive cover of "Without You" is by Harry Nilsson. IMHO :) (And that's probably why the internet repeatedly and wrongly credits him with being its writer!)

BTW, bravo @3DIO for spotting the similarity between Tess and Angela Rayner, coincidentally a person I just recently spent quite some time attempting to create a likeness of (I used Alla and Marnie heads as a starting point, combined with extensive tweaking using my morph library). But I got knowhere near really - so Tess will take almost all the strain out of the project (although it'll also drag me kicking and screaming into G9 territory, which until now I've skirted!).

Just wanted to mention, since some asked, you can have a very cool and versatile matching interior and exterior environment for my JP Antonio HD over at Rendo with the Samant Bay Harbor Butcher Apartment. heartsmiley You can see that in two of my promo images.

Got to agree with you there.

    @p0psie
I'm amazed she wasn't spotted sooner.

Genesis 9 gets a lot of flak, but personally I prefer it to the previous generations.  I get better results with 9 than I ever did with 8, put it that way.
Best of luck with your progression to Genesis 9.

Thank you for the education! I thought "Without You" was originated by Nilsson. The only songs I knew by Badfinger were "Day by Day" and "Come and Get It."

I always thought Badfinger's version was definitive enough. :) And those other version are basically note for note and lack the guitar work of Badfinger's version. Though, Ann Wilson is Ann Wilson.

Now, the demo of Come and Get It by its writer, Paul McCartney, could be definitive for that song.

Day *After Day, and No Matter What is also a banger.

I always though the Harry Nilsson version was what the Badfinger version could've been if they had given it more consideration. I like both their versions, because they give such a strong sense of melancholy. The reason I love the Heart version, is because they saw the potential to give it an overwhelming sense of dispair, and they completely succeeded. What ruins it in the Mariah version, is how she attempts to mimic the Heart style, but added embellishments litterally everywhere, making it a showpiece instead of a conveyance of primal emotions. And primal emotions like sadness are exactly something that shouldn't be embellished, it takes all the strength out of the message.

Weird... I thought this thread was about Celebrity lookalike figures and not about coverversions of songs surprise

Thank you, dear one, for your gentle correction and for pointing out that No Matter What was by Badfinger, which song I loved but didn't know the artist. Time to go through their catalogue.

Hey guys, take the conversation about songs to its own thread. Don't deraul this thread, please.
