Trying to replicate a skin colour

Hey guys,

I'm rather new to DAZ Studio and I'm trying to replicate a certain stimulus for my bachelor's thesis.

Someone has created body stimuli using the genesis 8.1 basic male model (see attached) and I want to recreate these male models + create matching female models. The person has outlined their parameters in a document (see attached), however when I use those parameters my characters look way darker. Could this be due to the person using Daz Studio 4.22 and me using Daz Studio 4.24?

Thank you guys so much in advance!

Are you using the same lighting? A saved scene should be sharable if you want to make sure.

Lighting from the first image is coming indirectly from the front, light from the second image is coming indirectly from the left. move your light, or if you are using an HDRI light, move the dome using the rotate parameters, then adjust the exposure. Lighting is its own science in photography and 3D. A strong advantage with Iray is the science behind how lighting works with or against photography is exactly the same as photography. A good photography tutorial can help you get much better results in lighting a 3D image.

He is using skin tone values for the skin colour but he may have different settings than you in the other parameters. The chart I have added in the attachment might help with skin tones.
