  @blue_ have you looked at @KindredArts products and especially https://www.daz3d.com/ka-rocket-launch-vdb? I understand it is for a large, real-world size rocket (rendered) but would you be able to scale it down to  what you need? And then adjust through your timeline? (No clue on that, don't do moving renders.)
