Unable to open some Iray material files, such as "Chic Bob Hair/Materials/Iray/..." DAZStudio 4.24.0.3 MacOS Tahoe. Version 4.24.0.4 for Mac has a lot of other bugs, so I reverted to version 4.24.0.3.

This usually means you are using the hair on a different character as it was intended for, e.g. using a G9 hair on G8.
Well that technically means you're using a hierarchical preset with the wrong thing selected. The most common case would be that you selected the hair while the preset expects you to select the parent figure, but indeed using it on a different figure than it was made for would also cause that.
