how can I fix this

Hello, there once was a tip how to fix the problem on my attached image. The headpiece is from Genesis 8 Female and I used it on Genesis 9. every time I pose the figure a part of the geometrie makes funny things. I have this with many other items too. I also can't pose the cables like I can with Genesis 8

When you autofit it will remove custom bones.

I don't know if there is a way to keep custom bones, else you will have to redo them. Look at the original and recreate the bones, and with the geometry tool select the verteces that belongs to each bone, and apply them with the weightmap tool.

For the claws it might just be a weightmap problem, so you have to clean up the weightmaps, so each claw only belongs to one bone.

Thank you felis. Clean up the weightmaps? I don't have any idea how to do that.

Select the claws in the scene tab and expand it till you get to the hands and fingers

Select the weightpaint tool. Open Tool Setting and select symmetry (will do both hands at once) and click one of the outer finger bones.

The claw should now turn red-blue-grey. All of the claw that extends from the outer fingerbone shall belong to the outer fingerbone, i.e fully red, so if it isn't you must paint it fully red.

I don't have these claws, but I found some other to show the principle.
