    Thanks, guys. David is up and at his computer watching YouTube videos now, so his need for me to be at his beck and call is greatly reduced, He has much less than the anticipated pain this time, so that is great! 

    Now I have to decide what really caused that inferno, and what happened afterwards.

    Thanks, we are both doing well. We went for a "walk" all the way to the end of our driveway and to the street end of the next door neighbor's driveway and then back home. Small steps of progress in his recovery. yes

    My heart goes out to you. Been there, done it. After a failed surgery, and another corrective surgery (failed) still doing it. As Tina Turner would say, "Whats love got to do with it? LOTS!

    Good God. Truer words were never spoken. My husband was so much more healthier than me. I thought the surgery would be 6 months max to get past and get our lives back. Then all of a sudden it was him needing me. Its been 15 years for me. No respite. Never thought this could happen. I have cancelled surgeries for me because I am the caregiver. If I go away he has no one, So what you say s so true but it is idealistic and unrealistic. We cannot address our health issues when it means vacating someone we love who relies on us because nobody else will pick up the duties.

    @ArtAngel, my words were particularly aimed at a short term problem. They do fall down when an expected short term problem stretches to be a chronic one, but the sentiment is correct even then, it's just that external respite needs to be sought, and it's rarely available without a fight. On a different note, could you check your forum messages? Sent you one on the 16th.

    Prelude to an Inferno

    As the fat dripped onto the embers, the grill flames grew higher and hotter. Balloons in the table decorations came loose and started to float around the party venue.

    Helium Balloon surely? Nobody uses flammable Hydrogen any more, even though it is cheaper and twice as good at lifting weights.

    The wrong lesson was learnt from the Hindenberg. The lesson that was learnt was not to use Hydrogen, while the lesson that should have been learnt was not to use the ingredients for the thermite reaction (used to weld railway track) in the paint you protect a hydrogen filled airship with. The airship stayed on an even keel until well over half was on fire, indicating the gas bags were intact and still providing lift, so Hydrogen couldn't have been the initial fuel for the fire as it first spread so fast.

    I agree, no person with any sense should knowingly fill party balloons with hydrogen. Although, I understand that hydrogen is still used to fill balloons in some parts of the world, because it is cheap and readily available.

    The only things to do with tables are sprawl over them when humans want to use them or knock things off them. Both at once, if possible.

    I just remembered tbat I discovered Poser 4 in 1999, That was also the year I was married. (At age 49).

    My wife and I already, in our first year of marriage, were not getting along well.

    I felt lonely, and also felt the need for artistic self-expression.

    To make a long story short: my wife hated Poser almost as much as she hated me.

    After 5 years, we departed as friends.

    And I've been happily involved with 3D art for 25+ years.

    My 100 or so friends love my artistic pursuits. At lunch time, I wander from table to table showing them my latest works,

    Oh yess. We have an 11 month old Maine Coon kitten who has perfected that with our Dining Room Table. He shoves things out of his way to get enough room to curl up. And... he's big, and can stretch out to 3'10" (nearly 117cm) from tip of front paws to tip of back toes.

    Hydrogen Bombs Detonated at Birthday BBQ

    News Bulletin:
    Devastating explosions occurred today at a birthday BBQ near Wabash and Sycamore streets. The damage appears to be the result of several small hydrogen bombs. Domestic terrorism is suspected. The FBI is searching for clues to the bomber's identity. Call the Crime Tips Hotline with any information in regard to this incident. Miraculously, there were no casualties. All party guests were inside the rec room at the open bar where Boost and Ensure were being served. The grillers had just run inside to get more meat when the explosions occurred. The apartment building sustained minor damage with some windows blown out. The bombing occurred in the parking lot, which was totally destroyed. The ensuing inferno was rapidly contained by the nearby fire station, but small fires continue to burn. Avoid this area.

    So much more interesting than normal chrome frame furniture, and yes, it is all on one endless tube.

    If anyone's interested, I posted a bunch of inane "one page" cartoons inspired by my senior citizen neighbors.

    I assemble them with DAZ Studio and Comic Life 3. Then I print them out and show to my "100 or so" friends.

    They really love to see cartoons centered around Seniors.

    Oh I bought the Cat Zeus and some related stuff. I also bought the DAZ House cat and related content.

    It might take me awhile to make more art.

    I'm having trouble with my vision. I get strong sunlight coming through my curtains. I have to wait a month for an eye doctor appointment.

    I've asked for new blackout curtains and blinds. 

    We're getting ready for a big HUD inspection of our building in May. 

    Drapes might be delayed a bit.

    I get up during the day so I can visit with my friends around lunch time.
