Agreed. It's not uncommon for Daz to skip a weekend catch-up though. I hope there is one next weekend since the few things I want to buy aren't currently on sale.

The buy in offers are only as good as the buy ins are. And today, there's nothing I desperately need nor want enough to pay release price (still new included) for it and get items that are part of the good offer. I do have a few QC items to pick up today, since it resets on Monday, so I'll keep my stars.

...Ron, congratulations on your latest trip around our main sequence G type stellar primary..
...that's been the same for me save for RawArt's latest release as it was a G9 character which can be used by itself without any additional content needed.
Pretty much gave up on Quick Grab and the Outlet Store as most of the former is G9 related and nothing shows up on my wishlist in either anymore

I like both of RawArt's characters, but can't justify getting them at the moment as I can't think of any specific use for them. I wish I had that kind of budget to support artists "just because."
With the exception of this month (when they seemed to have limited the OS—hopefully it'll be back to its full glory after MM), OS had quite a few G8 characters and stuff for them, and there's always at least a few in QG as well.
Yesterday, I got the Blender T.V. Studio (Daz2Blender Edition) for $23, thanks to Raw Deals by RawArt & Lantios buys. I will probably use both of these PA items for books and trailers much more than I use The Blender TV Product. I have paid for Blender Pro courses (TEDIOUS STUDIES) but DESPITE NOT BEING A BLENDER USER had an inkling I would regret not buying it, down the road.
...so does purchasing a membership earn a star? Star discounts don't work on memberships but there is no mention that buying one doesn't qualify for earning a star.
Hmm, seems like all most all the recent releases from Polish (https://www.daz3d.com/polish) (NOT the New Releases) are not included in the sale, except very old ones .... Is that the current state of these sales on Daz3d? Really disappointed since I has been waiting for a long time to buy these on sales :( . I remember that after an item is not a "New Release" anymore it can be included in the sales, apparently not the case here.
There's usually a lag between when things go off New Release and when they show up in sales. I forget the actual length... 3 months, maybe? (Please someone correct me if my guess is wrong,)
I think it has been said to be 3 months, but I have things on my wishlist that is 6 months old, that I haven't seen yet in this sale, but it might be a coinsidence.
I don't think there is an official rule on when a product will be part of a sale after the end of the two months window during which it's considered a new release.
For this March Madness, since the beginning, the most recent items in the featured artists stores were all from December 2024.

Yeah, which has been really annoying given that I've mined out most of that stuff over the last few years, especially the environments. That said, I can sort of understand limiting it to products that are that old, as with the way some of the stacking has worked on many of the promotions, I would imagine the PAs would hate to see their newest products being sold at ten cents on the dollar before they had any chance to recoup and/or proved that they were unlikely to. Still, it's made for a rather dull sale overall, even if I've bought a lot of catalog stuff in the 1-3 dollar range and new products at 60+% off. On the other hand, there's still a good bit of G8 product that's been coming up and that, along with G3, will continue to be my go-to line of figures until such time as DAZ either fixes all the issues with G9 or replaces it.
