Yay! That IS good news. That is, till you find out how dumb Smart Content can be.
......OK, saw the new coupon offer (PICK-UR-PERF), clicked on the "Shop Now" button, chose an item (after making sure it was not on either the "Newly Mad" or "Still Mad" list), put it in the cart. and applied the coupon only to get the dreaded "Coupon not valid" error.
So what is the catch?
It wasn't working for me either, but it did work with one Newly Mad and the Everett 9 Add On bundle. I went with 8 tokens + one Newly Mad + one Still Mad + Coupon Code and got the Everett 9 Add On bundle and some other stuff for a very agreeable discount.
Apparently, that coupon is still not working properly for everyone, judging by the reporting thread, and intermittent errors are the hardest to troubleshoot. I am going to skip the offer and save myself some annoyance as well as money. I am glad @CamFox got a great cart with it.
There are a lot of older PA products on very deep discounts, no coupon, some less than $2. Includes all of FirstBastion's catalog and his items don't seem to go on sale often.

I'm not even trying to figure out the Daz math today. All I know is I put two new releases and a still mad in my cart, then started loading up the cheapest stuff from my wishlist that I know aren't from the outlet, quick grab, or Daz+. The number of items I knocked of my wishlist is bonkers. Adding my $10 monthly coupon and tokens only sweetened the deal. I didn't even use today's coupon code. Wow.
Yeah, I'm not sure what all was going on. But I cleared a bunch of new/recent wishlist items.
So glad you two got some awesome deals!
I tried it, looked at my total, averaged out how much it would be per item with the buy-ins excluded (since there really aren't any that interest me) and realized that the per-item was higher than what they were worth to me.
Ah well! Maybe next sale will be my lucky one.
checked the DAZ store this morning real quick, as I often do. saw that I had a "we miss you" coupon for a free item, plus a discount. How nice! waited until I had access to my laptop to redeem it because I don't love shopping on my phone, but it turns out now it's already expired. not cool. not that you owe me free things, DAZ... but if you're trying to charm me, this is not the way.
I used the pick ur perf coupon to get https://www.daz3d.com/tara-9-hd-add-on-bundle for $5.04 and I was satisfied with that. Mostly I want the succubus add on. The costumes and other items were gravy. A nice treat for me!
...ah just checked and the PICK-UR-PERF coupon finally works Picked up Stonemason's Classical Gardens to complement his Classical Courtyard which I purchased with Monday's coupon code.
It was the DAZ store being the DAZ store. Sometimes the stacking works in your favor, and in this case, well... lets just say that I strongly suspect from comments that some have made that the store staff didn't properly take everything fully into account as to how everything would add up once tokens and other discounts were all factored in.
Sort of. It wasn't a specific sale that ended, but as near as I can tell, there was a coupon that wasn't working properly for a lot of folks and at roughly the same time that it was finally fixed a lot of other folks started complaining that the prices in the cart had gone up.
Even now it's still a bit of a mystery what the intended sale is.
From cart testing just now, with a Newly Mad + Still Mad in the cart, and Gold Star, the first 10 random items from Mad Artist Stores get the extra 50% discount without needing PICK-UR-PERF. Adding PICK-UR-PERF lowers the cart price by 1 cent. PICK-UR-PERF works unlimited times (but is unneeded if the discount applies automatically?). PICK-UR-PERF says it affects 5 items but 10 get the discount. There are no apparent floor prices even though floor prices are listed. I'm also not seeing any effect from the Today's Special text in the sale carousel saying extra 20% off Mad Cultue Clash items.
On top of the Daz Math, I personally bought a bunch of bundles where I already owned partial items, so the cart was all kinds of screwy. But the final price was agreeable indeed.
There was odd Daz math being applied to fetured artist items. From a couple calculations i did, i think the featured artist discount was applying two times even before adding to cart and combining with new / still new releases. It was like that most of the day, but eventually fixed.
I think it had happened before, even very recently but it usually takes a lot less time to fix those things.
Huh. No "weekend-long" themed sale. I'm a little surprised.

I've said this before. I need to remind myself that I don't need to buy stuff just because there is a sale.
Sometimes it;s easier to say no. Sometimes I just don't like the "subject or theme." The last two are a good example.
I'm sure I miss some great opportunities because the terms are all too confusing. I think the issue of stacking is in there.
At least one time the price of a product was already dramatically reduced just by putting it into the cart. And maybe that one time the coupon wouldn't make a difference.
I try to limit myself two a few items that might finish off a desired "Theme." The Wagner-related stuff is an example.
But sometimes I don't have the money to make that particular purchase at the time.
And sometimes I buy a package that really leaves me hanging. The Four Horsemen wasn't about men at all.
Either way, I'm done for the rest of the month.
Well I felt lucky it was today when there were 10 items from the World Wide Tour promotion that I was happy to get for 93% off (90% with the Artissane set and an extra 30% for my Gold Star) - but then I have a number of middle eastern and eastern style items in my wishlist as those are genres I like.
Same - though I used a different buy-in - Some very decent products, particularly environments, at 90% without tokens. My first haul of MM <-- I've been well-behaved

...another wishlist coupon, and one which doesn't need a New Release buy-in. With pretty much the entire store on sale, time to clear a few things off of it. Hope to see more of such coupons.
Hoping Double Token Monday and Tuesday are better than last week.
Today's enhanced tokens promotion gives prices close to yesterday's 30% wishlist coupon, with storewide Mad Artist items to shop. The math works out a few cents higher than the wishlist coupon - but it's a lot easier to pick items now since it doesn't matter if they're previously wishlisted and there's no 10-item limit.
Super excited to pick up Feng's new Orc yesterday and I'm kinda tapped out for a few days, budget's pretty thin with taxes due.
Oh also, the gift card deal says 3+ "New Releases" which is a much broader selection than the "Newly Mad Releases". the Daz Originals member coupon could work there too. https://www.daz3d.com/new-releases
The "original" price of the Mad Door prizes runs from around 99 cents to just under $3.
It doesn't make any sense to use a coupon code to get a $2.99 price?!

So is it supposed to be quadruple tokens today? Because we normally get double tokens on Monday and Tuesday. So "Earn twice your usual tokens for your purchases today!" should actually be 4x tokens. But my cart shows the same old tokens I always get on Mondays. I won't hold my breath on this one but I thought I would ask anyway in the off chance Daz actually delivers on their ad copy for once. Just once. I know, too much to ask.
