I wonder if that has something to do with a pending promotion? There have been a couple times it got rearranged in advance of something big. (Which might in this case be MM in general....)

I think it's for MM in general. OS was also reduced in scope during the Holiday Sales.

I see a count of 868 out of 1142 items - 1142 is quite  bit less than the usual ~3k, and I have almost 300 of the available items. QG has the usual 90 items. It's possible there are more items that are OS-priced and not showing in the Outlet Store - That happens, too.

837 of 1142 items for me.         But 832 out of 837 is DAZ, that's why I'm saying PA-s are missing from the outlet.

Yeah, and I seem to remember something similar during the PA sale?

I agree, a lot of PA items have been dropped from the OS and some have been added to the MM promotions. The prices are apparently higher than when they were in OS - That may not be the case if you have tokens, stars, etc Certainly, the total number of items in OS is lower - Not the 3000+ We usually see during normal store ops.

There are a few interesting ones in QG.

    XI Roman Forum for $0.99

dForce Indian Bride Outfit for Genesis 9

CNB Parah HD for Genesis 8.1 Female

    Cheyenne Braids for Genesis 9

    etc...

The only problem is that some of them are part of a bundle, so if I buy them now, I won't buy the bundle later...

ps: Beware of editorial licences in QG.

    Oh dear.

QG used the wrong script again. So re-assuring that mistakes are rectified and then in the best traditions, the correction is undone. Had that with the NISA Finite Element software in the 1990's. There was one update a year, and for 10 years the update corrected errors introduced last year and re-introduced errors corrected last year. After 10 years paying for 'Upgrades', the company I work for reached the irritation point and swapped software to another FEA system. After all the 'Millenium Bug' publicity, all the softwares dates were reading '1900' in the year 2000. The conclusion was that the 'support fees' were pointless.

    Richard

If you have items in a bundle, you get credit for that proportion of the price if ever you buy the bundle itself in a "regular" sale, i.e., not a fixed-price deal. I did that a lot after the Starter and Pro bundles were re-arranged into Character and HD Add-on bundles (and recently the overlapping Outfit bundles), where some items were dropped and new ones added to the pool. It was cheaper to buy the new bundle to get the one new item than getting the new item separately, like those time-limited alternate shapes that were only available the first day, which were eventually added to the new bundles.

I've been buying bundles where I own some items ever since Daz started doing this permanently. IME, the Owned Item/s discount is pretty generous & cheaper than buying just the unowned item.  And the discount is the same, no matter how little you paid for the owned items due to being in QG/Outlet/freebie selections, or other promos like Mad Door Prizes or "Get it for $X when you buy ____"

Per item discounts don't apply to OS bundles, though. That said, there have been periodic sales on OS items, and that enhanced discount on already-generous OS pricing (for some items more than others) makes buying the bundle through OS mostly a no-brainer. Even so, OS bundles tend to be older than g9 character bundles - they're usually G8.1 or earlier. And QG has been curiously short of bundles for a while now.

Nope, the owned-items discount doesn't apply to OS/QG bundles, (or with other fixed-price/no stacking deals) alas. But it does work the other way, thankfully.

I don't mind that a lot of OS bundles are G8/8.1. There's still some, mostly fantasy/SF, characters from that generation that I still want. Usually because G9 lacks something similar, the G9 version is much pricier, or I just like the older version better.

336 of 407 items (with hide items I own)

    407 of 407 items (without)

Is that right? QC is 55/90 and 90/90

  • richardandtracyrichardandtracy Posts: 7,437

I  have 1009 visible of 1142 in the outlet & 86 of 90 for QG.

Not sure why you are missing so many Outlet items. Is it worth culling your cashe?

Are you hiding Poser items using the Daz Deals plugin? If I uncheck the Poser items checkbox, I will only see 416 possible items instead of 1142 items in the Outlet Store. I'm guessing you have some combination of filtering going on with that.
