Funnily enough, my first thought was 'Maybe next week.'. The one item in the offering I really, really liked (MSO Lacey), I already have, and thought I was getting a fantastic deal at $3.99 when I purchased the character.
Regards,
Richard
Unfortunately, I didn't see anything I wanted in QG. There's a few things I want in Outlet but I will probably wait until I decide to re-up a membership.
I added some of the QG items to my WL. I added some OS items, too. Even so, I'm not ready to re-activate my Daz+ right now. It would take a more compelling offer.
MSO Lacey for .99 makes me feel as though I'm stealing, not that it kept me from including it in my latest QG purchase.
It appears this week's roll-over of QG went without a noticable hitch.
Regards,
Richard
Almost entirely opposites, then. I have 5.
Regards,
Richard
There's always that one week in a month when it goes smoothly and gives us hope it'll stay that way.
I didn't think of that... You're probably right. Like cats, who once in a while don't knock things off the mantlepiece just to show they know how to behave, but choose not to most of the time.
Regards,
Richard.
I usually only have 3-5, but this week it is 8 owned. Possibly because some of the owned & not-owned offerings look like previous Daz+ weekly/monthly freebies. And yet another week of QG I'm not into, although that may be partly due to my just not being in a buying mood this month.
Yes indeed, as long as you make sure you haven't already bought it from the same vendor at Renderosity.
Don't forget to have one last look at QG - tomorrow is monday with a new selection!
I can see how it'd do. My daughter reads lots of Manga, so I can vaguely recognise the style...
Regards,
Richard
Two weeks in a row of QG repopulating on time! I think the hot place just froze over.
Yeah, that has been a very nice experience!
For those who don't own it and could see themselves using it https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-fair-maiden-outfit-for-genesis-8-and-81-females
and https://www.daz3d.com/everyday-senior-citizen-props especially caught my eye from the stuff I own.
Nice porps, shader, hair and characters - I like the selection!
Fair warning: despite the URL, it's a Genesis 9 only outfit included in a Victoria 9 related bundle.
Edit : it's not clearly explained in the description, but the skirt from the Cozy Dreams Outfit for Genesis 9 is using dForce while the sweater is conforming only.
https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-casualwear-texture-add-on-for-genesis-9 - a warning, when I bought these textures quite some time ago, the MAT files didn't work, the links were all wrong. I filed a ticket hoping for an update, but after they'd stated they were able to reproduce the error, they simply returned my money. Might be it has been fixed in the meantime. Just FYI.
Since I bought the set some time ago, I went to check. All materials seem to be working for me, but a few has to have the part of the outfit rather than the figure selected: all headphone materials, one material for pants, all shoes materials, and all cropped top materials. The rest (jacket, backpack, most pants) can be used with the character selected.
@Elor; Wow, I never realized that g8/8.1 URL. Good eyes!
I have those Senior Citizen props and as I looked them over again I noticed the grey rods and finally found out they were knitting needles. I heard somewhere that knitting has become a recent hobby of young folks. So if you want to reflect this trend and you already own it, or can spend the $0.99 for the comprehensive package, this is a steal. Now if we have knitting poses?
I was sitting in bed, using my notebook computer.
I went back to the Outlet store, and couldn't believe my eyes. Wow, the Outlet Store items had multiplied.
I bought the Senior Citizen props. Most of my intended projects center around Seniors.
That's my world!
Oh dear. I can't knit, but cross stitch is something I do. And as I can't do twee or cute and most charts are full of twee and cute, I had to write a program to create my own charts, selecting colours with nice amounts of automatic thread blending and that sort of thing. And ended up with this (116 colours from 151 thread colours, 25 stitches to the inch, 8832 stitches, 184 x 48 stitches, 3 month project):
Regards,
Richard
There's balls of yarn too!(Anyone know where I can find 3d crochet hooks?) And there's a hair color box & contents. I don't think I've seen that in any beauty, hair care, or bathroom props set. So getting the set.
@Richardandtracy I do cross stitch, but not that detailed.
I somehow don't have crochet hooks! I have a special category under Tools>Fiber Arts where I stash products with anything to do with that. I have a spinning wheel, a bobbin, Japanese loom and other items, thread, snipping scissors, dress forms, 'Sewing Basics', antique sewing machine, embroidery hoop but no needle, 'Hobby Props Sewing & Knitting'. So we need crochet hooks and actual poses that reflect the basic holding for knitting, crochet and embroidery with a hoop. Maybe even a quilting hoop and those poses (machine or old school, hoops or table style for a group quilting bee).
Lights so you can see what you are working on would be nice.
