Handsome guys?

May I request a handsome Gen. 9 male? Seems most of the Gen 9 girls are either anime or utterly gorgeous. Most of the guys look fairly ordinary, though I've found I can dial-spin something if I work on it long enough. I own damn near every Gen 9 male you've put out.. You have a few G9 K-pop guyys, but I'm a romance cover artist, and most of the heroes I render aren't androgenous. My publisher doesn't allow AI, which I find frustrating to work with anyway. Something in the general vacinity of Henry Cavill would be ideal.

    Have you looked at https://www.daz3d.com/mm3d-hero-hd-shapes-for-genesis-9-masculine?

    One of the morphs looks like Henry Cavill somewhat. With your mats and mixing with other characters' morphs, you might get exactly what you need.

    Something you may find handy - try dialing in the standard G9 "masculine" head shape. Either adding it or overriding the limits and increasing it. It might give you results you like.

    Of course it has to be said that "handsomeness" is highly subjective, but G9 guys that I personally enjoy using are:

    Daz men:

    • Toshi 9
    • Calum 9*
    • Ivar 9
    • John 9 Muscular Shape add-on*
    • Michael 9
    • Lawrence 9
    • Julius 9*
    • Carter 9*
    • Julian 9*
    • Nathan 9

    *Typically used for mixing with other shapes or their skin

    PA men:

    • Faber Inc's guys (Nahuel, Menfis, Cairo)
    • Kooki99 has a great collection of distinguished chaps
    • Color Galeria has some very nice G9 men

    I could go on but I'd be here forever hehe - there are many more that I highly appreciate. Quite often I'll combine the skin of one character with the morph of another, which can create a completely different look.

    I've used John 9's, Lucas 9's, Laurence's and Mateo's materials a lot.

    Julian 9 is probably my fav leading man out of the box.

    https://www.daz3d.com/rupert-hd-for-genesis-9 is creepy by himself but mixes amazingly well.

    From the same PA  https://www.daz3d.com/alvaro-hd-for-genesis-9 also mixes well when I want an older, solid guy. Dain 9 I've used straight out of the box for a more blocky dude.

    https://www.daz3d.com/tma-kade-genesis-9 is stylised but again mixes really well

    Conner for Carter is very verstile. 

    Love the Faber Inc heads. UncannyValet on artstation has great real looking fellows. 

    I still have a soft spot for Michael 9!

    Henry for Genesis 9 by geserty is a very close depiction of Henry Cavill, but there are no separate Head and Body morphs. It's just a single character preset, but I've seen several people on deviantart using him.

    I think he looks like a slightly older Anthony Mackie, best known for playing Sam "Captain America" Wilson (previously The Falcon) in serveral Marvel movies & the Disney+ miniseries. Although Mr. Mackie does have a narrower jaw I think.

    But I love all 3 actors.

    They should have named him Carl Dee Mackie. Or Anthony Dee Weathers. Either way, I suppose he doesn't look like Henry Cavill.

    Would love to see a Jeremy Irons (one of my fave actors) ... like maybe around the time he was in The Man in the Iron Mask

    My intention is not to attack the artists that create the models, I do respect the effort and time that they put into their work. 

    However, the recent male model Daniel looks like an early Daz model from generation 1,  he looks less refined than other non-daz originals. 

    I do understand that the male characters don't sell as well as the female models, but its such a stark contrast from what we have been used to. I have not bought too many items recently as a result.  And again no offense to the artitsts, you truly are the life blood of DAZ. I'm just noticing that the male models just aren't as great as they could be.

    Anyway, good day to everyone.

    Wow, that's a gorgeous image. And yes, the character did remind me of Billy Dee Williams and Carl Weathers. Hot! And Mouso's characters are really handsome, particularly the younger dark-skinned guy.

    well the one you posted is from the shooting star characters I think they are a long the lines of the starter essential characters basicly less detailed comapered to the core figures hence the price as well but they are good as fillers background characters to fill out scenes so your main characters stand out more in a scene also probably saves space
