I WL'ed those as they look fantastically useful... once I get far enough along my learning curve to be able to use them. Right now just reading the description is overwhelming LOL.

I don't have it, but reading the description, if you know how to manually dial a morph, you know how to use this product: the PA already did the majority of the work and once you have activated the single dial the description is speaking about, you're done and everything else will happen automatically depending on how each finder is posed.

I manually dial in morphs I've bought, but haven't worked with making my own (aside from one pair of elf ears with Mesh Grabber close to two years ago). Something I should probably get around to eventually, but there's so much other stuff (like dForce, ugh) that's higher on the priority list.

If you have a big wishlists then you are going to have a field day today.

Seems my wishlist isn't big enough, then. All I could achieve would be some not too impressive 75% off - 50% off due to "Featured Artist" and those 50% extra off from the sale. Premier/DAZ+ aren't worth it for me anymore. Due to me not spending enough money in the shop I never have any Tokens and due to me not buying G9 stuff I rarely find a new item that interests me enough to buy it with only a 30% price reduction.

In fact, even when I would have an enormous amount of items in my wishlist, my limited funds or reluctance to spend a small fortune on a hobby would keep me from having a "field day", too. wink

This is pretty much exactly what I feel. frown I am having a nice time with the outlet store. Old stuff that requires work to bring to current standards and enables me to play cheaply. G9 has a few, a very few, characters worth purchasing, and trying to get older stuff to fit is interesting..

    Regards,

    Richard.

What was it we were supposed to do to sort out products not being shown as purchased in the store? I'm having that problem with my purchases from the last few days.

Usually refreshing the pages a few times works for me.

I have the same problem and multiple hard refreshes is not fixing it.

To get better than 75% off, you need to look at the specials from the previous days. There are a number of artists that if you buy a qualifying new release their 50% off becomes 70% so the 50% off code makes them 85% off before adding tokens. I think for someone on a more limited budget though who is not interested in Gen 9, probably is better off with the daz+ membership for the half off discount on the quick grab section each week. There is usually a fair bit of Gen 8 stuff in their for like 99 cents. There is also tools for using Gen 9 clothing on Gen 8 which opens up even more good price options to be used with old Gen 8 stuff.

Thank you. That and a couple more refreshes did it.

50% Off Featured Artists, an Extra 60% off with a New "Individual" release (unlimited, no coupon needed), an Extra 50% Off qualifying Wishlist items with coupon, 8 Tokens for an Extra 30% or 45% Off... I have't seen them stack up so well in a very long time.

    Indeed, nice catch today.
I got a whole bunch with - aside from the one New item - the low discounts starting at 93% for quite some of the newer items. Culling down my wishlist significantly.

As said, new releases rarely interest me, when they come with only a 30% off price reduction. It would take too many other products in the cart to make it worth - for me! - to invest that amount of money.

And as DAZ+ offers a coupon for DO items - none of those in my wishlist; the last three times I had DAZ+ I had severe problems to find something to use that coupon on - or a non DO limited coupon, that asks me to buy stuff for at least § 12.- (after using the coupon), which usually only works - for me - when at the same time a sale with the option to use coupons going on, it's rarely interesting for me.

That 50% off for Outlet/Quick Grab products doesn't cut it for me either, as usually there's only one product each week in the Quick Grab store and rarely one in the Outlet store that is interesting for me.

DAZ managed to buy stuff for a total of ~$30.- in November, after me buying only for $ 5.- in the whole of October. So I think I'm not the Target Group for DAZ and any sales anymore, which makes "Field Days" coming up for me really, really, really improbable. wink

Oh, and those "tools for using G9 stuff on G8" are nice, but when the G9 stuff is just a small variation of G8 stuff I already have, with less options than the G8 stuff... really? Why buy that G9 stuff?  The curse of having a product library of ~8k products here (and some more from other shops). There's a limited number of Nurse outfits (for example) I would need. wink

tl/dr: field days are more probable for newcomers than for long time customers

I guess you missed the stacker sale climax weekend about a week ago. A large portion of the store could be had for 87-96% off on PA items.

The Wish-4-You code doesn't say it's limited to one use. Has anyone tried it for more than one cart? The code next to it has the one use limitation.

Yeah, I've been trying a second use of it and it says coupon code invalid.

As it doesn't state its limited to one-use, and their terms are that the item has to be in your wishlist pre-23rd November, there is no reason for it to reject the code for me.

No, I got some, but I did not have a full load of tokens, so I could not get them down that low. Made up for it this time... twice.

    Hello,

Something seemed to not be working on my end to bring down the price of featured artists items when an "Individual" new release is in the cart. I had one of the latter in my cart and yet the extra 60% discount on FA items was not being applied. I've been able to determine that what triggered the issue was the fact that the "Individual" new release product was also in my wishlist. I don't know why that should prevent the extra 60% Off on FA items from being applied. I simply don't understand it, but it's happening. The real problem is that even if I remove the "Individual" new release product from my cart and then from my wishlist and then I add it again to my cart, it still won't trigger the extra 60% discount on FA items. So now I am forced to buy an "Individual" new release that does not interest me if I still want to get the benefit of these stacking discounts. Great.

Anyway, even with that inconvenience, this is the kind of sale that I was waiting for. I had hundreds of products wishlisted and I also happened to have a good amount of store credit left. So I've been able to buy many items for a very good price and reduce the size of my wishlist significantly.

Thanks very much to Daz for this opportunity. And thanks to you NorthOf45 as well for pointing out the goodness of this sale. smiley

sorry, I just found that one hilarious

its not actually spelling that was the issue but rather an unfamiliarity with the word used

many people including yours truly are just as guilty

for years I thought people were saying segway when they were actually saying segue because I had never actually heard that word spoken and hadn't realised it was pronounced like that

I am guessing it's the same with poultry a familiar word you assumed people were saying

its very common and I think it's better to know than remain blissfully unaware

Malapropism. A malapropism (/ˈmæləprɒpɪzəm/; also called a malaprop, acyrologia or Dogberryism) is the incorrect use of a word in place of a word with a similar sound, either unintentionally or for comedic effect, resulting in a nonsensical, often humorous utterance

and ... I learnt a new term cheeky

    ...it could have been palfrey

...but that would have been horsing around.

Another pretty crazy day for discounts. Add just one of the new releases over the last 3 days, and all the PA artists items drop to 80% off. This becomes 90% if they are in your wishlist and you use the wish list code. Add 8 tokens and the discount is 93% off for PA items, and 96% off for DOs. Not bad, and Black Friday has not even started.

Happy for those getting great discounts on a ton of stuff! I did a little experimentation, and averaging out the per-item, I was still feeling pretty 'meh' about it (largely due to the questionable usefulness of the items). So my cart won't be nearly so grand... just the four QGs I wanted, plus the wearable lights. But I'm super excited for those wearable lights, so it all works out in the wash. :)

(If those wearable lights had been included in the stuff among the last 3 days I would've had a bigger cart, but... que sirrah. I've had several sales recently that spoiled me, so I'm content to wait.)

Nice selection of options for the freebie!

...amused that some of the $1.99 w/ code are 99-cent QGs, though. =P

Thanks for noting this detail as well! I hadn't used that code yet, so I was able to get a gift card prior to shopping yesterday's sale.

It was glorious. :) Using the wishlist as a sale bucket isn't really the purpose of it, but every now and then a big wishlist sale with stacking/overlap comes along, and it's nice.

I wish I could gift my unused tokens.

In those cases, especially if you're planning a shopping spree, it's worth considering jumping on Premier for a month and using Outlet / Quick Grab to charge up a few extra tokens. The bigger the cart the more the token savings will compound.

Countdown To Festivities is off to a good start for me! I've already had fun with the 2 coupon deals; a nice way to kick off the week.

  • davesodaveso Posts: 7,751

I am back to a Base member agaon so the free item is very good to me. Perhaps the $1.99 coupon as well. I find it very difficult to find even 1 free item out of all those pages that I would use. That might be a hint. I know I've been staying with newer stuff lately, or at least when they roll out of new status and get put up for large discount. I put what I'm interested in into my WL upon release. Few things I buy out of the gate anyomroe unless it really strikes me. Waiting for more to do with Ultra Scenery.

it gets harder every day to find something. Even free items is a challenge laugh I don;t turn down "free" though , really free as in no buy-in.

I found a G9F by one of my favorite PAs that I was happy to purchase for $1.99. In fact, I actually had a choice from more than one PA.

I'm really liking that it's a "countdown to festivities" this year. More inclusive and more accurate if they're intending to go up to Dec 31. Includes everybody's holidays, religious and secular. Thanks, Daz. :)
