I'll throw my hat in the ring since @memcneil70 is busy. =P
Definitely set up with the stereotypical Western-defined male/female roles, but I like that a lot of the poses seem playful and affectionate. They'd work just fine with both of them wearing a T-shirt and jeans, no skimpwear required. They seem like a couple who love each other, and tell a story beyond one person trying to lure the other into bed. The bodies are posed in ways that people actually stand and move, too, though that guy is strong as heck. (Honestly some of them would work well for a lesbian couple in one of my stories, as one of them is --due to fae genetics -- exceptionally strong and tall.)
The last time I saw CZJ was in the UK TV series 'Darling Buds of May', a series I didn't watch much of. She was somewhat younger with a rounder face and then moved out of the UK to become famous.. The Mask of Zorro is a film I've not seen.
Regards,
Richard.
@SilverGirl: Very helpful, thank you very much!
Glad I could contribute. :)
The Legend of Zorro (2005) is awful. Avoid it unless you hate yourself and want to suffer.
I really like https://www.daz3d.com/spooky-season-4k-shaders-mr, although they are a bit late considering halloween. Some may still qualify as autumn shaders, though.
I really like today's Samadeh Vevenor (and it's Better Than Daz+ today, so also a treat). An interesting-looking male character.
Not been doing this sale.... Says better than Daz+ is $1.99 for Daz+ and Base..... I'm Base, correct? (no subscription)..
Should I be seeing these cheaper or is the promo page wrong?
Anyway confused as ever.
As far as I know that promotion (base getting D+ discount) has ended several days ago. We reported it in the reporting thread and said that the promo page back then was still showing "base. " Apparently, no one at the marketing team bothered to correct the page for possibly several days now. Sorry!
Actually it was right for a day or two, I checked the first morning. But yeah, they used the wrong template again for today's - will flag.
Really...??
I'm sure it would be illegal in most places. I wish they would stop with those ridiculous items. It's getting tiring.

plenty of UV protection on the back though
looks awkward, need to do more than just wee in the sea as not pulling that down easily

I'm not really sure what I'd be buying based on the current description and promo images. I only know the "modern" ghost lights, and I use them extensively in my renders. I have though been confused by old tutorials for ghost lights and their use of opacity.
I'd have liked to see the various promo images with a third panel: Dark, Lit up with "modern" ghost lights, and Lit up with the ghost lights in this product. A fourth behind the scenes image of how these ghost lights were placed in the scene might have been instructive as well. I'm most curious how these lights reflect less.
Finally, are the various light types that come with the asset (there are six mentioned) more than just IES profiles? They resemble IES profiles based on the promo image.
Any enlightment (couldn't resist the pun) would be welcome.
How is this even a thing? Supposedly "classic" ghost lights don't work with newer versions of Iray?
I am also confused as I have the oldest versions of the ghost light kits. I have bought every kit from Kindred Arts so far and a few from other vendors. Is this just a reissue/repackaging or do they work in DS 4.24 and 6.25?
First 3D Universe, now chevybabe25 turning off interactive licenses. Saves my wallet and makes their products easy to skip, I suppose, but still sad to see the erosion of one of Daz's core licenses.
Are you sure it was the PAs, or could it been the set-up of the promo pages by DAZ? They have made errors in the past.
Edit to Add: A fast check of today shows Kindred Arts, Feng and Nelmi also missing Interactive licenses. I posted this in the reporting thread.
I didnt turn those off eh.. I will flag someone about it
*edited to add* (a) thank you for saying something.. and (b) Ive let the right people know. Commerical and Interactive licenses should be allowed on this product.
@memcneil70, @doubledeviant and @jmucchiello: Maybe this helps?
I don't use them but KA has been updating their plugins and lights

a headlamp is like a Ghostlight too without shadows which is also not PBR
yet DAZ iray has it, it can be moved around too so there are obviously things possible to do in the API, we just don't have the hidden knowledge
Hi, just quoting yourself but hopefully this answers others in the thread too. If you guys are happy with the current crop of ghost lights i have that use scripts (like IGLK ONE etc), or even the ones you can D.I.Y via the utility scripts, you likely don't need these. I did these by request, because some preferred the older set, or they're using older Daz builds. So it's the older ghost light methodology, completely scriptless, but with more lights (rim, disk, umbrella etc). These are not really the way they should be done, but they work, and hopefully the people who appreciated the older set will appreciate these. These lights don't use scripts (primary rays/ghost light FAC), so they should be gold if you have older builds. It also gives me leverage to update the newer ghost light sets without pestering this legacy set. My apologies if these can get a bit confusing, but i'm trying to keep everyone happy. I still think IGLK ONE is solid if you want a simple, cheap set of invisible lights.
TL;DR - These are not a replacement for the current methodology, they are just an expanded set of lights using the old low-opacity technique without scripting, specifically for the people who wanted them.
PS. There's no IES profiles here, it's just the lights. There's six - Ceiling, disc, flat, rim, sphere, umbrella.
Well I did buy them, didn't cost much. And yeah, I didn't see much. But after Nvidia pulled that stunt 'fixing' an error that everyone adapted to, they might do it again. I will keep the set just so I have the full group that has been released. Never know. And it will remind me to be cautious.

It is in my wishlist, but I am hesitating, because previous ghost lights have not worked out for me.
The uniform lights took some of the light moods and I have not noticed any advantages in render time. Quite the opposite. Ghostlights seem to increade render times.
I have also never really found out where exactly to place those ghostlights.
Maybe a more detailed tutorial on ghostlights could help.
The new ghostlight or the classic?
The classic stopped working as the intensity was multiplied with the oppacity, and therefore much weaker (argumented to be a bug fix). To fix you need to increase the intensity with the reciproque of the oppacity (which gives insane large numbers).
The new uses a special Iray feature where it will be invisible for direct rays. But as KindredArts also pointed out reflection from new ghostlights will still be visible (while not for the original),
Actually any ghostlight.
My main problem are not the values, but more where exactly to place those ghostlight. Obviously it should not intersect room walls or else it won't work.
Also intersecting with a window geometry causes problems. Once it does light up a scene, render times seem go up, instead of down.
I actually have never had any faster renderings.
Those are my experiences with any ghostlights. (New and old)
So I still must be doing something wrong.
I can see this is in top of Hot items https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-bs-baseball-jersey-outfit-for-genesis-9
But has anybody wondered about that the buttons is on the side pointing outwards, i.e. you cannot button the shirt.
Did they forget the buttonholes on the front side?
The whole thing is sewn on permanently. You put it on over your head, and the buttons and rim are for decoration only ;)
But it can be opened
Ghost lights should be placed where the real light is. So put flat ghost lights just inside the windows, and spherical ones around internal lights with bulbs. Now decrease the strength of other mesh lights, particularly any put on surfaces with a lot polygons. Then tune the ghost light strengths until you are happy with the illumination. For me at least ghost light have always significantly reduced the render time.
