Genesis 9 - Any product covering the upper thorax/ribs ?

I'm talking about the area below the collarbone and above the breasts. Is there any product that can make this area look more bony?

I think you'd be hard pushed to find something that targets that area in isolation, however you may be able to isolate a character morph somewhat with Shape Splitter: https://www.daz3d.com/shape-splitter

This character from RawArt has the type of detail I believe you want: https://www.daz3d.com/dryanna-for-genesis-9

I also found this one: https://www.daz3d.com/la-ghoul-for-genesis-9

If your character is going to be fully clothed with only the decolletage visible, then it may just be a case of applying a different head morph.

SY Spine and Ribs Detail for G8 has a morph or two that might be useful for you, but I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for.

    Silas3D,

Very interesting! Is there a shape-splitter equivalent for Genesis 9?

    Cheers!

As an alternative to Shape Spliiter you can use the "Attenuate By" and then "dForm" option in Morph Loader Pro - you just need to create a weight map in the dForm tool that captures the area you're interested in. Then export a full character morph with the shape you're looking for, and reimport it with Morph Loader Pro.

Apologies I thought it was figure independent as I thought I'd seen others use it for G9 - might be worth searching the forums to see if anyone has!

Shape splitter would not really help in this case because you would lose the HD. HD is really important for decent ribs, though an SD morph might work when combined with a normal and/or displacement map.

I haven't found away to do it with anatomical acuracy

https://www.daz3d.com/shape-shift-for-genesis-9 will allow you to hollow out underneath the ribs and play a little bit with the sternum

A product on another site called Versatile Clemence by undeadcrab will help get the individual ribs that look ok depanding on your base figure (eg Death 9)

Some others that might be an ok base

And a previous thread with some ideas - https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/8332916/

    Havos,

Yup. Noted. I got curious about shape-splitter in itself, not with any relation to the OP's intent concerning ribs per se.

BTW, here's a Forum thread about shape-splitter. I was wondering how a tool like that could alter a Genesis 9 character, if such a tool exists.

    Cheers!

Shape Splitter can also work well on G9. (as usual, not supportive to HD of course...)
