The terrain is from High Resolution Terrains 1 with a material from the same set and High Resolution Terrains 2. The "Skyline" is/was a Daz original once by Stonemason. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Sunless HDRI Skies and the key light by the sun.

Wow a fantastic landscape, Horo, beautiful work.

Another Outline effect using the Stylised Rendering and a mountain scene.

Thanks all. I am feeling better, good enough to be at the computer.

Horo, two great landscapes. I really like the one with the trees, but the other one is very good too.

Mermaid010, great results with stylized rendering!

I created a canyon in the free version of Gaea and brought it into Bryce. Not very good (too low resolution), but maybe interesting. The ground terrain is another terrain and the trees are from the set with trees for the forest.

Hansmar - thank you. Good to see you back. Yes, the terrain looks a bit low resolution, but the scene looks very nice nevertheless.

Hansmar  - thanks, welcome back, very nice scene, I like the POV.

Thanks, Horo and mermaid010.  I had another one in the making. This is called 'Beach city', not because it is a city at the beach, but because the heightmap I started from was a picture of sand on a beach. I modified it substantially, specifically pixelating to get this city shape. I added some flying objects for fun (from Bunyip02).

Hansmar - Your Beach city render looks really very nice. Good idea to use an image and convert it to a terrain (I made a few from cloud photos quite a while ago). The material used fits the scene quite well with this contrasting red sky.

The terrain for the islands was self made and given a material from High Resolution Terrains 2. The water consists of two self made terrains with a material from High Resolution Terrains 4. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from HDRI for Fun. The clouds are from Object Clouds 2D & 3D and the key light from the sun.

Hansmar - awesome 'Beach City', the lighting and materials match perfectly.

Horo - magnificent realistic island scene.

The buildings and the vehicle are a gift by Drachenlords. The terrain was created from Mars MOLA (Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter) data, the height here is much exaggerated. Materials for both terrains from the High Resolution Terrain Set 1, sky and ambient light by an HDRI from HDRI Enhanced Skies, the key light by the sun.

Horo, Thanks. Fantastic island scene. The Mars scene is specifically interesting due to the reflecting surfaces.

    Mermaid010, thank you.

I made another scene from the canyon made in Gaea, with some more modifications. I added a cloud slab from David B.

    Thank you mermaid.

Hansmar - thank you. This stepped hills with the river in between look very nice.

Three terrains in the TE as Mordor generated and given a material from Gritstone Hills and High Resolution Terrains 2. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Object Clouds 2D & 3D. The clouds and fog are a cube with a material from Atmospherics Clouds-Volume (comes with Bryce) and the key light by the sun.

Three terrains from High Resolution Terrains 1 (one in front, two in the back) with a material assembled from High Resolution Terrains 2, Landscapes under Fantastic Skies and Gritstone Hills. Sky, clouds and ambient light by an HDRI from Terrain Stacking and the key light by the sun.

Two self made terrains with a material from High Resolution Terrains 2 and a self made texture. The boat is a part of the Flying Steamer. The haze is a cube with my own volumetric material and the water the ground plane with my material. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI made from a render by David Brinnen and some light by the sun.

mermaid - two very nicely looking scenes.

  • Horo Fantastic landscapes and excellently lit

mermaid010 A fantastic landscape as well. The riverside querry fits very well into the scene.

Hansmar IIt's great to have you back. Fascinating canyon landscape with well-chosen material.

My picture was more of a brainteaser than something like  art. I wanted to make funnels and kind of plugs only by using Bryce.
