    Just saw this while looking for a Cap and Gown for G8+/G9.  I know this theme is past, but Graduation I expect would be difficult to do without something more than a M4/V4 version of mortarboard, gown and honorary sashes/ribbons.

    Amphibious Friends

    Axolotl, Frog and Salamander decided to spend the day relaxing at the pond.  Summer was almost over, and the days were getting cooler, so they wanted to enjoy the warm weather while it lasted.  As they lounged lazily, they very much enjoyed watching the little schools of fish that swam by.  Fish are not very bright, you know, and would often swim around in circles for a long time before they finally found the direction they wanted to go.  Salamander commented that he wasn’t sure why groups of fish were called “schools”, when clearly they never learned anything!

    My first full render in Filatoon!  It’s a LOT different than Iray, and it’ll take me a while to get the hang of it, but so far it seems really fun ^_^

    Rendered in Daz Studio Iray.

    VERY little postwork in Pixelmator Pro.

    No AI used.

    Hi gang.. sooo sorry about being gone..  Mom and Dad duty is taking a lot more out of me than I thought it would.  I'm still going to TRY and make an animal render for this month...

    FYI.. I just got a notice that my premier membership is over (my page said i had til October.. but of course I didn't do a screencapture.. and tickets are such a chore) so you may not see me for a while in the Plus forum.. I'm gonna have to think long and hard about signing up again... I still have gift certifiate money left to use.. but I've not rendered much in the past 6 months.  :(

    Stay well one and all.. Hugzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

    Oh I'm fine simon... It's just mom and dad... and hubby and I are all they have.. Everyone else is out of state.  We are getting into a routine so we each get some time "off".. Today is a ME day!  Gonna try and work on a render between house chores... LOL.

    I kinda miss rendering and I will miss the Plus forum but right now I think I need a break from Daz (and money spending here... eep)  I have soooooooo much content that I've not used.. I reeeeeally don't need more... lol.  I guess I can still use my gift certificate on the 1.99 items.. they were never discounted anyway.... but it sure is sticker shock when you don't have plus or premium!!!  Good deterent NOT to buy... lol.  I'm ditching my wishlist too!

    I'll be about... stay well everyone.. hugzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz from Ohio!

    You can also try to do it the other way, working on house chores while Daz Studio is busy with a render, but from experience, it may result in no house chores done blush

    I had another idea for this month, but then, I spent all my time on what was supposed to be a simple portrait to use as a thumbnail for a Persona preset… In the end, it's a three birds one stone kind of renders: a thumbnail for a persona preset for Hanako, a thumbnail for Smart Content for the jyuban (with some tweak to use the material presets provided with the jyuban), and a render for this month challenge laugh

    I hope you'll like a 'Tea with a friend', because that the whole story of this render (they are animals on the renders like fishes, birds or a cat):

    All items used are, as usual, listed on the gallery, and there is also a second render, which is the same as the main one, but Hanako's jyuban is made of pink silk instead of white one (it's actually how it started).

    Hi Gang,

    Free time is still tough to come by right now so I am recycling an unused idea from the 2023 thread that never got used.

    Welcome back, and nice render smiley

    I like how you always find a way to add your logo to your render.

    Thank you Elor :)

    I love your nice serene image too. Great job on the dforce on that outfit! Not sure if it's the same one I used a while back but I remember those long sleeves giving me some issues with explosions.

    For the simulation, I don't remember having problem with the sleeves, but the pose kept the arms far enough of the torso and other part of Hanako's body so everything worked nicely :)

    Oh my gang.. I'm sooo sorry... WOW another month is gone and no artwork from me... ughh... Life is sure throwing me some curveballs these last few months.  I will TRY and get something rendered for October.. I'm hoping to add the last 2 month of themes in my artwork.. I just hope mom and dad duty can slow down a bit.

    =================

    OCT= 2017 (THEMES) https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/137066

    ==================

    Pick a theme and post it when ya can one and all!  I will try and check in now and then.. Stay well.. THANK YOU ALL for keeping this thread going.. I'm sorry I'm not much of a hostess the last 2 months... My Daz subscription has ended and I'm back to FREE.. but WOW the price jump on stuff is incredible.. It's forcing me NOT to buy anything right now but I've got soooooooooooo much content that I've never used I'm sure I can come up with something for one of the themes for October.  (fingers crossed)
