Still struggling to find some time to properly sit down and come up with a purposeful render. However, I did have a few hours last night to play around with Ultrascenery again and managed to make a scene with it which would hopefully count as "Landscape" for this month. Not particularly interesting but it does have a nice warm colour and an air of quiet and relaxation to it :)

VEEEEERY interesting to me Sof.... One could tell a story with your Landscape... ;)  well done!  Thanks for finding time to create something for the challenge.

Whenever I get back to the Art Studio forums after some time away, I always check in on all the wonderful entries, with good intentions to add one too... but time gets away. But last night, I decided to start a quick scene for the "Umbrella" category. Tried out an outfit and pose set by Breeze that had an umbrella in it!

    Colors in the Rain

A Belated Happy Birthday Llola! heartHope you're making progress in getting your DAZ library sorted. I'm also supposed to be moving my files across to another drive so I can install all my buys from this year - but imma procrastinating on it...

THANKs for BD wishes Sapph... Daz Library sorting is going horrible... :(  There's GOT to be an easier way to swap stuff from one drive to another without causing problems... but I have not found it :(... I can see why you are procrstinating.

Your artwork is jus lovely... Rain just ended here in Ohio but didn't look half as nice as your render... lol.  ahhhh... Spring is in the air in Ohio... lol.  Thanks for creating something for the challenge.. :)

    I knew that ... [d'oh, d'oh. d'oh] - I really DO know that, but my finger's apparently don't! ;) I'll have to see if I can edit it!

Nothing to see here *waves hand* this is not the dodgy image you are looking for ...

Really nice scene :) I agree that sometimes it's tough to light your characters when you want a darker or more shadowy look but I'd say you have done a fine job as the characters certainly stand out enough at the centre of the image.

    Thank you :)

    Llola Lane said:

Just lovely Elor ... I say the lighting on the characters is JUST RIGHT!  Thanks for sharing.  :)

    Thank you smiley

    ------

I picked umbrella as the key word for my render, and I used two of them, so, no mumbling about bending rules laugh

I had a couple of other ideas in mind, but I spent some time creating metadata for various items without them, so most of my renders in April where thumbnails for Smart Content (I could also have used one where the umbrella is over the ice-cream vendor's bike, but it was way out of focus because it was a thumbnail for a swimsuit, not a ice-cream vendor's bike).

I don't have a story behind this render, but it could be a fancy birthday party for Llola, with Llola behind the camera, flexing her photographer's muscles smiley

At the very least, happy birthday Llola yes

Rosa Maria 8.1, at a bar

All items used are named and most are linked in the gallery.

Elor... Those have to be the tinies umbrellazzzzzzzzz I've ever seen... LOL.  Took me a while to find them... and Yes... that's me clicking away behind the camera... SMILE!!!  lol.  Glad you were able to post for the challenge.

I chose "March = New Baby", so that I could make sure I remembered to enter this month, by using the image as my Mother's Day picture, too!  Is that cheating?  Of course not!  *Whistles innocently*

    Mother's Day 2025

    Happy Mother’s Day!!!  ^_^

ok.. Had some time to play tonight... I used to be a wedding photographer... waaaay back when... lol

Since working with Daz I have always tried getting wedding portraits realistic... without the eye blinks... people moving... setting up the dress.. ugh.. it took forEVEH to get peeps to stand nice.  Well I had the illusion Daz would be easier... lol. NOT... by the time I found Genesis.. put her makeup on.. dressed her and posed her... set up the lights... ughh... Can't decide which is faster... lol.  All I do know is I like rendering with Iray best... Simple... fast.. and quick.

I've REVAMPED an old 2013 render of a bride with Iray... I've included both artworks so you can see the difference... oh and also note the render time... 2minutes vs an hour and a half!  YAY for Iray and my new monster computer!  LOL

    ENJOY!!!
