    Do you mean this:

    http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/111842/start

(replace 111842 with the product SKU of your choice)

    Cheers @MelanieL! That's the one!

Wow, thanks that's way better than my usual : Search  for Product Name Daz Doku on Duck Duck Go (or any search engine).

Thanks, joanna. How did you access the readmes for the individual products?

I scrolled down the bundle page to the products listed, opened one, and then clicked on readme link (which is part of the Daz Deals plugin). But since the individual products have SKUs as well, MelanieL's solution will work too.

I don't want to mention this on the thread with the angry people. I have near 1300 items on my WL. I got a really nice free thing off today's promo. Thanks for that! Sorry to hear others are having problems with the promo.

How did you get it to work? I have over 3k items on my wish list, have tried multiple items that were DO, not DO, lower priced, higher priced, and daz+, without a debut item in cart, with a debut item in cart, and every time it tells me the wish-4-all code is no good.

I see several new products that don't have a discount...like the Hillside Villa Bundle. Just wondered if that was correct? Most of the time new product do have a discount, so I thought I'd check before I buy.

New products have a discount for the first two weeks after release, I believe. After that, the discount is removed. They remain NEW for 60 days. I can't tell when that bundle was released, because I cannot access a readme for the product.

According to the readmes for the individual producst (I don't think they ever do readmes for bundles, do they?), they were released on 2025-08-26.

Thanks, joanna. How did you access the readmes for the individual products?

Thanks for the information. I didn't realize that. I usually buy when things are new.

Glad you did get to use it. Perhaps it was before they trimmed the selection. There WERE some nice things from my WL in the original but not in the current DO only one.

sadly it's not the promo but the tedious task of searching for Wishlist items without the paid version of DAZ-Deals blush

if one is patient and not busy, has lots of things in their wishlist maybe

I am feeling even worse now I got a nice thing no longer in the selection right away

there are actually nicer things still in the selection but not on my rather small wishlist

W/L  category sales sales are difficult without a paid addon; I usually don't bother with them.  Fortunately for me, today's are all are DOs, so I filtered for DOs and sorted by date, and the oldest two items were discounted when I put them in my cart. with the coupon.

Since three didn't work, I chose one, since there was ovbiosuly no incentive to buy a Debut item...

I just went through the "shop now" instead of the wishlist and scrolled down (have infinite scroll set up for for sales pages) until I found enough wishlisted items to pick and choose from. My wishlist is big and includes older items.

If you really insist on going through the wishlist, I'd do the following: filter it by artist, Daz Originals only as all the items in the selection seem to be DOs. The date of the newest items in the shop now list is 2022-12-27, so find the item on your wishlist which date is before that. Anything below that might be eligible for the gift, but no guarantees, as I don't know if the selection is trimmed.

Sorry I couldn't reply sooner. It's as @Joanna said. I went through the shop now link, filtered high to low, and I saw several options right away. I loaded my choice in the cart. The coupon worked first time.

A trick that worked for me: I sorted by date through the shop now link and put the newest item into my WL. I then went to my WL, filtered by DO, and sorted by date. Anything below that item just WL'ed that isn't D+ is likely eligible.

I can't justify the paid version. I almost always filter high-to-low on a promo like this and I usually opt for the highest-value, reasonably recent item. It's too easy to waste too much time scrolling through the queue. The golden heart icon helps, too. And don't feel bad about your prize. You had no idea the deal selection was going to change - We don't control that! But we do control our WL size. I think it's prudent to have more WL items so that promos like these don't go to waste.

Well, after all that hassle, it turned out that there were only 426 items on the actual list that I didn't have, and not a single one was on my 250-ish item wishlist.  At least it's mostly really ancient stuff and items that I already bought elsewhere.

  • TorquinoxTorquinox Posts: 4,242

@Cybersox I'm surprised you find anything you don't already have, unless it's brand new or something.

The coupoon has also just stopped working.  It was working fine for me a few minutes ago, I refreshed the page before I checked out and now it's not applying

  • The coupoon doesn't work,

Daz needs to be specific about which items qualify; age, vendor, or whatever

  • The coupon did just work for me. I have no idea what the difference is.

But they have to be in your wishlist

the special offer today... I have thoughts.

On one hand: gift horse, mouth. Thank you for the free item. I really mean it.

On the other hand, I was lucky because I had exactly one item that qualified. This was pure coincidence and I just as likely could have had no qualifying item. That would have made me feel pretty dejected, and for what? keeping a trim wishlist? Why would DAZ wanna disincentivize that?

Add to that the usual bugs, the super unclear wording... and the fact that this sale seems to be specifically constructed to highlight one of the stores most egregious flaws, the lack of "wishlist only" filter.

Why not just "get one item from this list for free, get 3 if you buy a new item"? I might have actually bought a new item to get two extra free items, but I didn't even have the option as I had only one qualifying item. Why make it buggy and complicated and weird?

That's the link I tried as well as the one on the sale page

@Robert Freise: It works for me (in the cart), so I have no idea what could be the problem, sorry.

With the way that artists can just disappear here, I do try to pick up things in my WL within a reasonable time frame.  That said, there are still a few really old items in my wishlist, mostly Genesis 2 items and things for odd figures like the original Star.  And., needlessto say, I suspect that the huge super discounted cart of 126 skus I picked up on Wednesday might have cleared out some potentially eligible items.

@Robert Freise: Maybe try with another browser? I use Firefox atm.

Just tried again and it loaded an almost entirly different group with less products than before and still no joy

I think this is the problem, nobody is looking a gift horse in the mouth, if they got a free gift they like me, were very grateful heart

However the way this was done, many missed out because unless one has a huge wishlist which really defeats the purpose of a wishlist, for some the chances of having something in the selection was small

not because there were not good things, there were excellent products but many were in bundles or owned already or simply because it was such a huge selection, hard to filter

indeed I myself never found any relooking though the revised selection after getting something second row from the initial one so had I come later

I did add more to my Wishlist though

Daz really has a knack for messing up even the simplest things. There is nothing on that list that is on my admittedly extremely small wishlist. So thanks. I guess.

The most fiendishly difficult to take advantage of "sale gimmick" they've ever devised (even if it does "work")! devil

I have a wishlist with few items, all of which I woudl buy, and only 6 are DO - so, regardless of link I used, no suprise that there wasn't a hit

I consoled myself with a coupon, 4 tokens and so $45 worth of Dreamlight goodies for $8 (~85% discount) from the PA-Sale
