This might be a bit too 'On Topic' for the Off Topic thread, but couldn't find a better fit.  Dartanbeck is going to be explaining his 3D animation workflows.  More info at his Art Studio thread, specifically this post.

my very cheap Temu teeth arrived

the silly plastic putty doesn't stick but I will buy some Polident and try that

the teeth themselves don't look too bad, better than my missing and decayed ones

not a great selfie with teeth loosely placed

oh you cannot actually eat with them, it's just a plastic plate to hide the awful teeth behind it for selfies and such, I wouldn't wear it in public

if I can get it fastened with Polident intend using it for photos only, dressed up with wig etc

better than the woooden ones you often mention wink

"In the Coen Brothers' film O Brother, Where Art Thou?, John Turturro's character, Pete, is memorable for his distinctive, exaggerated teeth. These teeth are a key part of his physical appearance and contribute to his comedic portrayal in the film"  One of my favorite movies.  I recall the Coen Brothers saying something like Turturro signed on as soon as he tried on the teeth.

ChatGPT is quite dumb actually, it's like any computer program, only as good as the data put in, it just spits it out in interesting sometimes usefull ways but much is just vomit

but then I know people like that cheeky

    Xmas in July video

uploaded this yesterday but was too tired to share until now

I found trying to generate an Ai sing about it almost impossible, it really doesn't understand the concept of the Southern Hemisphere having Winter in July let alone having an alternative Xmas celebration

I put this here because although the cats were all Carrara furred and rendered Virtual World Dynamics clothed png series reused, it's really just a collage of stuff including yours truly looking bewildered (no fake teeth) accidentally videod in slowmo on my iPad to make me look even more bewildered blush

Very good, nice voice.  That cat in the background near the fireplace seems disappointed to be left out of the show.  wink

Bunyip02 this will sound weird, mostly because it was but I actually dreamt about you last night

you, the forum user not the Australian cryptid of your username

it was a brief confusing dream in that I don't actually know you in any way outside of forum posts but apparently you had an asthma inhaler and I stole it

I then looked on the forum to see if you mentioned it was missing

    like WTF

the dream made utterly no sense and why you and not Stezza or Headwax I have no idea

I can only assume I read forum posts so much my brain scrambles them into dreams somehow

I mean, if I were to guess what sort of dreams this forum would influence

I am pretty sure the hairy cucumber would figure in most cheeky not a mythical asthma inhaler wink

I don't have asthma so you could not have stolen my inhaler - except maybe in your dreams !!!

What about those subliminal dreams that you can't remember but wake up in a nightmarish sweat ?

my dream made no sense whatsoever and I can only assume a result of reading the forum in bed on my iPad

nothing other than the name Bunyip was related to anything else, cannot recall anything much but that when looking at the forum in my sleep or even what you looked like in my dream prior or where we met for me to steal the imaginary inhaler or even if you were there, might have just picked it up and thought it was yours for some inexplicable reason cheeky

I kid you not but yesterday I found a bag of inhalers ( about 7 or 8 of them ) in the draw whilst looking for a tablet cutter...

what this has to do with your dream I have no idea .... but I did think the next thing I thought I'd find would be a hairy cucumber!

only because I like long thin slices of cucumber with salmon wrapped in them... laugh

ChatGPT wrote me a story based on an Ai video description I wrote

    “The Prince’s Offer”

In the velvet hush of sleep, I wandered halls carved from moonlight. An opulent palace stretched before me, suspended between dream and eternity, where shadows whispered secrets and chandeliers wept crystal tears. At the heart of this silent court stood him—a vampire prince, devastatingly handsome, with eyes like midnight storms and a voice smoother than spilled wine.

He didn’t speak of love, as dream-princes sometimes do. No, his offer was clearer:
“Immortality,” he purred, “in exchange for a simple thing. A blood diet. Rich, red, eternal sustenance. A small price for youth and power.”

But I was already gagging at the thought. I like my meat properly cooked, thank you. The sight of pink in a steak makes me push my plate away. The idea of a sanguine liquid cuisine? Absolutely not.

So I declined. Politely, firmly. I even tried to throw in a nervous laugh. “Maybe I’ll just take a raincheck on the whole eternal life thing.”

    His smile faded.

“You misunderstand,” he said, voice now cold as marble. “Refusal does not make you guest—it makes you prey.”

And then the dream twisted. The velvet halls turned tomb-dark, and he came at me with all the grace of a falling star and the mercy of a storm. Fangs like ivory daggers. Eyes hungry. I felt teeth on my neck, pressure and heat—

I woke up with a gasp, heart pounding like a panicked drum solo. Never had that dream again.

Instead, I grew old. Got soft around the middle. Discovered the joys of carbs and air conditioning. Occasionally I’ll pass a steakhouse and mutter “too pink” under my breath.

Sometimes, in the mirror, I think of that palace, that offer. And I laugh. I may have turned down eternal youth… but at least I get to eat cake.

And that vampire prince? He can stay in his dusty dream palace, still hungry.
