    I'm sorry for you, I've had spells like this as well where I'd really want to buy some nice new stuff, and I even had money at the ready, but nothing seemed to work for me and none of my WL came up at a good price. At least you're saving some money, right? - PA sale used to be in September, not August, no? Or did this get changed? 

    Oh, was it September? I'm sure you're right about that. For various reasons, August and September tend to meld into one big month for me as far as my time sense goes, and I'm not good at differentiating the two.

    I am observing that some items Featured Artist items are not going below $3.49 regardless of any tokens.... while some others are. Really tired of those hidden rules. 

    Edit* Looks like its the items that are also featured in Conversion Posing deal.

    today is the call to batch convert G8 poses..there are some on sale , sort of, considering you have to buy a debut new release, which are all pretty expensive. BUT,  what we supposed to batch convert all these poses with? Is there a conversion product on sale for cheap or what? I don't see one.

    Yep. With a debut new release in your cart, any product added to your cart within this section of the sale will cost $3.49. But if you manage to select at least 10 from within that section, each one then should cost $1.19 only.

    I glazed right past that one. Thanks :)  With new debut I only do a quick glance, and mainly at the price. Anything over $11.xx I don;t usually even consider. If its something I would like to have, it goes into the WL.

    From what I understand:

    • it's a batch conversion script which automates conversions via Bone Minion products
    • the batch converter product includes the required files from version of Bone Minion needed to convert poses from G8 to G9, you don't need to buy it separately
    • if you want to convert poses from G8 to another figure, you would need to own and install the "Bone Minion from G8 poses to <your target figure>"

    Yes the other bone minion products are required EXCEPT for this one in the descriion:

    • Includes Bone Minion for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Poses for Genesis 9!

    So you should be able to do that conversion without purchasing any bone minion products.

    I have to say, if you don't do your own poses, this is the time to buy some. With that pose sale going on, as low as $1.19, you can get a ton for real inexpensive like. Even with the fact you need to buy a new debut release and 10 pose products to get that price, and it does not stack.

    A pose converter for Bone Minion seems like quite an unexpected development to me. The whole point of Bone Minion was to NOT have to waste time and hard drive space converting poses. As stated on their product pages "Stop wasting time and hard drive space converting pose presets, just use them! With Bone Minion, you can directly use Genesis 8 poses for Genesis 9 figures without first converting and saving them to a preset." 
    As you mentioned, the pose conversion process has already been addressed by previously released products.  Maybe RiversoftArt feels that Bone Minion pose conversion is superior to the existing products.

    Like barbult, I wasn't expecting this one. I have a lot of the Bone Minions (& planning to buy more) but don't see myself wanting to save enough poses to justify buying the converter.

    I am sure it will sell well, however; RiverSoft seems to have a knack for coming up with products that help a lot of artists. This line has certainly helped me.

    In my experience Bone Minion definitely does a better job than the Zev0 conversion scripts when going from G1 to G8 or G9, in particular the hands. G2 to G8/G9 will also likely to be a bit better and maybe M4/V4 as well. However for G3 to G8, or G3/G8 to G9 in my opinion the conversions done by Bone Minion and Zev0 batch converter are about the same.

    Since I don't use anything before G8 then I will only be interested in a batch converter from G2 or earlier to G8 or G9. As such I will likely pass on today's product.

    Well, I stand corrected. The June sale finally panned out for me. And on my birthday, no less. :) I think I got pretty much all the G8 poses that were on my WL.

    Yeah, that's me too... although recently I've been frustrated that even with my rediculous number of pose sets, I kept running into the issue that none of the poses in them were quite what I was after. Hopefully this fixes that. (Plus there were a bunch of poses I found as I was going through everything that gave me ideas for new renders, so -- score!) Going to take an age to get them all cataloged, but... good problem to have. And at that price, even better than an Outlet store refresh.

    There probably is. I don't use/need either, as there are nice freebies available, which work good enough for my needs. wink

    Anyone planning to buy more off their WL today, be aware that getting the additional 20% off WL items in the selection is hit or miss (it's been reported). I can't get it on any of my WL RiverSoft Arts items for example. 

    Perhaps today is NOT the day I finally grab the Daz Horse 2 Bone Minion, after all. Grrrr. Oh well, there will surely be another catch up &/or extension sale...or 3. And better for my budget if I have to wait on it.

    So today the regular featured artists section seems to be totally replaced by this mega flash sale... Hmm... I've grown accustomed to browsing the legacy and recent FAs categories each day during this Summer members sale. And basically I've bought products each day. Unless I go for Daz Originals, neither of which I have wishlisted, prices today are less attractive to me. So I may be giving my store credit a rest today. It actually needs it. laugh
