    ShareCG was still up at around 4am central time this morning and I was able to grab a few more items.. darn now its gone for good.. wish I would have stayed up and grabbed a few more items sadsad  I was also trying to capture details about usage for individual items.. some were unrestricted use while some were all rights reserved.  I did have to log in multiple times in order to finally "get into" the site and managed to contact a couple of artists thanking them for their artistic talent and hoping they would move their items over.

    I mainly grabbed the "Unrestricted Use" items as I knew I could repost them elsewhere for others who may not have been able to get them. I ended up downloading about 600 assets. Now I just need to find the time to get them posted on Renderosity and/or RenderHub and make promo images for the assets that meet each site's guidelines.

    Oh thank you for the link to that thread. It looks like it's going to be quite helpful! I don't envy whomever runs the Poser Daz Freebie Wiki, as I think that's going to be a MASSIVE undertaking to fix all the broken ShareCG links.

    new message, no links to logins, etc.  (looks like renderhub has offered to support their function/service for their audience and 'share-ers', but no data/accounts were, or will be, transferred)

    Sounds nice!

    But... free under which license? There's a huge difference between CC0 and CC4, for example, in terms of what you can do.

    I just became aware that some members mentioned my freestuff with ShareCG.

    Just wanted to let you know that I started transferring all of my stuff to the Freebie section at Renderosity.

    There will be new stuff, too, never published before.

    Definitely been seeing daily adds now in the rendo freestuff section from artists who had been at sharecg.

    That is good news! I do like your freebies and I'm glad they will be made available to others who may not have had the chance to get them before ShareCG went down. Thank you so much for the great assets!

    Spacebones - your work was a favourite of mine at ShareCG - hope your hosting them at Rendo goes well !
