Flash sale up. The wording and formatting isn't great (oh shock) -- as posted on the reporting thread in response to a quesiton, some testing reveals:

Add one new item + either 1, 2, 3, or 4 items from list = 50% off the items

Add one new item + 5 items from list = 60% off the 5 items

Add one new item + 6 to 10 items from the list = 70% off the items

The new item I picked was a D+ from a couple weeks back, so should work with older-new.

interesting - I put Julia 9 character bundle listed at 35% off and it did not jump to 50%.

i think i pass on this sale. Nothing in today new releases.... that nightware stuff from CynderBlue looks nice, but not for the price. That's about what I pay for a pair of jeans at wally world.

Any new item over $1 (even DAZ+) will do for the trigger. It doesn't have to be from today's new releases.

Yup. I used the church ruins D+ (which I don't have an exact use for, but might at some point). The 4 tokens that are expiring shortly + my PA coupon wound up getting me a nice discount on some G9 Antje clothing I've had my eye on, plus a couple other things. I played around with it until I got the total at just enough to replace my tokens (yay double day!) with the hope that Memorial Day will turn out well. If not... well, guess I have 4 tokens to use up on my DO coupon, and some stuff no longer languishing on my WL. (Although if Memorial Day turns out well AND it so happens I can throw my DO coupon at it, I will not complain!)

Yeah. That's what I did in yesterday's sale. Tip: those new D+ items always come in pairs; if you put two in the cart, their price gets lower. For instance, if you put SE Animal Strubyn alone in your cart, it's $3.77, but, if you add Arabian Houses 2, both lower to $2.64 (the second item just adds $1.51). Then, add max tokens, and both (altogether) will be $2.90. It's usually the last four D+ releases. Yesterday, I used CJ Lulu HD For Genesis 9 + Jungle Palisades 2. I think I'll pass today's flash sale, but that's what I did yesterday to buy some DO bundles and other items for a 93% rebate. Unfortunately, today's only 70%, though, since there's no password, one can use one's Prime/Premier coupon.

And then you use the gift card on a later purchase? I keep meaning to do this.

You can buy a gift card anytime and redeem it for store credit.

The email you pick when you add the GC to your cart gets a copy of the code, or you can grab it from the receipt on https://www.daz3d.com/sales/order/history

You must redeem the gift card code before it counts as store credit (that way you can gift a GC to a friend! But we all buy them for ourselves :) https://www.daz3d.com/giftcard/customer

You can buy a GC any day and it's 1-for-1 with real dollars. But if Daz runs a discount on GC's you'll do better than 1-for-1, and in exchange Daz gets your real dollars immediately providing them some cashflow.

Unfortunately, it's very rare that I'd want/use both, so unless that second one is part of a sale that requires two new releases to trigger a better discount, it's wasted money for me.

Cool for folks who would use both though.

And it's the one discount that always stacks. :)

i had a DAZ+ item in there...didn't discount Julia at all ... The overall discounting on my WL items included was a lot lower than I've seen i the ast couple of months do need to pass. Its hard when you have to buy what you can afford, and that involves a lot of choices, which sometimes bites yu in the butt down the road.

Flash sale tile up, good through the end of the day. $5 each from a curated selection, $4 each with a new release over $1.

But even though there is no disclaimer it apparently doesn't stack with other offers such as tokens and coupons.

Interesting selection.  The only thing that really caught my eye was Tossed Office Documents, but I passed on that...

Not been really interested in buying for days but https://www.daz3d.com/first-light-bundle-for-genesis-81 from the selection is slightly interesting.

    Anybody own it?

The price was amazing on the wish list until after adding to cart.

They made a mistake while setting the sale. As for what mistake it was, here it's just a guess on my part, but instead of inputing '0.6' in the percentage field, the person setting the sale inputed it in the price field, so all price ended at the fixed price of $0.6 instead of having a 60% base discount.

At least that what make the most sense, without seeing what UI Daz is using to set price.

    typical daz day.
    three sale sets
one does have a lead item I would buy but connects to no deals I would be interested in
another which is nothing it would buy naturally has a few things connected to buying a lead item.
    ===
And of course the old daz doesn't want to let me search just the wishlist items in a set of sale items
And it's an instantainous glazed eyes and lead when it's more than about 4 or 5 pages of stuff to go through
    ---
Of course I'm picky on what I buy since I apparently have averaged close to a thousand products a year for 15 years,
    ---
Okay, a $24 dollar item in the Fantasy sale
but the other stuff that I would buy the 3 to 5 additional items are in the Spring sale
But using a $20 item from the spring sale and loading in the extras would make a $62 then add $4 for the diff between the two lead items and that would be a $66 sale for daz.
But instead it's a nothing sale because the nothing in the spring leads appeal to me.

I have also seen that all of the Artist items in the 60% Off Artist Flash Sale are listed at $.60 instead of 60% off. That got me very excited, but then I calmed down after I put a couple of things in my cart and saw that the prices were 60% off, not 60 cents. Attached is a screen shot of what you see when you look at all of the artist products in the flash sale. This does make chosing items a bit complicated, since you can't see the real prices until you put them in your cart. When you click on an item, the product page still shows the items at 60 cents.

Lots of items are $0.60 on the store page and their individual pages, but 60% off in the cart.  Quite a price difference!

There is no way Daz and the PAs would allow another similar incident like the Great Genesis 3 Fire sale to happen again.

I had a cart that was $2500 of full price value that I could've bought for $40. Would've been an unbelievable fire sale. But I assumed it was an error, and I certainly wasn't going to rob the PAs of 99% of what they're selling their stuff for

I'd rather think that it was AI that made that mistake  wink

And I hope all the PA's that lost money because of it get it reimbursed by DAZ frown

Annoyed as my Premier subscription ended 14th when on my subs page it said 15th ::(   (I did not screen shot it and should have)

Didn't use my two $10 coupons which I would have today.

I have no way to be able to prove it  (as it was extended by the free Daz+ promotion they ran so had pleanty of time to use them)

Annoyed at myself and should have realised that things never quite work they way you expect here!

It still might be worth it to do a ticket. I had my last one (paid) expire a day early & got a quick & very acceptable resolution. I can't recall if I had screenshots. Perhaps you have an email or something, maybe still in trash?

I'm still waiting for a response for my ticket of March 24 for the exact same thing. Expiration a day early. Things like this make me think, had I seen the $0.6 sales price, and it worked tht way, I would have bought all of them without questioning it. DAZ gets so messed up so often. And who knows anymore if its not a huge gift to us for being loyal customers though all the crazy.

I absolutely would have if I'd caught it in time. I assume the PA's would get compensation because they didn't consent to that, and maybe if enough people cashed in on the experience, it would inspire Daz to start testing their sales before they hit the go-live button to make sure everything actually works.

So much around here is errors to the customer's detriment and/or cashing in on the free labor of the forum folk. If the error finally falls in my favor, I'm going for it.

yes, and already today. The advertised WL sale 1 item with couplon 3 with a whatever new release of the day is, etc... I put a new release into my cart, along with my 3 WL items, which happened to already be at 65% off... then I added my tokens, bringing the 3 WL iitems to 92% off. That was about 2 hours ago or so. I always wait to see if anything else springs up and when I went back to cart a bit ago, the discount dropped to the 70% off only. Tokens do not work, and the discounts are not stacking. It resulted in losing $20.  We will see, but if it doesn't go back, I empty my cart.
