    FirstBastion First of all, I really like that Torrential Waterfall Cliffs render. The DOF is lovely. heart (I went looking for the set. Just found it in the other site. yes)

     

    Second thing. I posted about the expiring gallery links in the Commons. It seems it's starting to work retroactively. A quick look at page 16 of your thread here, and it's showing that all the images are broken, so I wanted to let you know: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/353/a-day-in-the-year-of-a-life-gallery/p16 sad

    It does look like they have renamed all of our saved gallery images,  with a google API algorythm,  the links used to have a daz3d address,  and that would cause all these links to break.The actual images are still in the MyGallery folder here at daz but  I don't think I will repair the links to the froum posts here at this point. I have no idea why this was done.

    I did reconnect a couple images  but it does seem to be a lot of work...

    I'm not sure it's currently worth the effort: when I checked for one of my picture, the url included a tag setting the validity of the link to 15 minutes. So after 15 minutes, the link won't work anymore, meaning the work you did is only valid for 15 minutes after you opened the gallery to get the link.

    It is a lot of work. Totally un-necessary too, if the links are changed by script, why isn't it possible to script a change to the gallery image links in the forum. Sorry, I know why: 'Can't be bothered' is the reason, or the other classic 'Just too difficult'. 

    I do apologise, been getting a great deal of similar obstructionism from colleagues today.

    This is going to break the forums. Particularly those threads dedicated to the sharing of DAZ art, which is a lot of them.

     The few I fixed used the forum "attach to post" method,  bypassing the google  API timed algorythm.
