    I think pretty much all of JoeQuick's stuff is pure gold on there. I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention Pussey's extensive content for Genesis 1 clothes. And of course Sickle's extremely helpful resources. And there's Shukky, Draagonstorm, Aemi1970, DarioFish, DocMikeB, XNalara... so many generous folks that provided great content for free.

    I am a bit surprised that there isn't an indexed landing page at the domain name,  offering it for sale.  Because there has to be some inherent value in years of worldwide name recognition.

    Well the original announcement about closure offered the various sites (and IIRC some of the hardware) for sale, but it's down too due to the DB errors

    yeah they just sort of let it fall down, not exactly trying to make it look appealing to a potential buyer. super unprofessional tbh.

    I felt like the owners didn't even care about the site from the beginning. They probably let it just die since they potentially had buyers come in but after they saw how old the site looked and functioned, they all decided to pull out of any deal.

     Agreed it doesn't recognize the login,  nor allow downloads.

    After several attempts I was finally able to log in and download.

    ETA: It didn't last. I lost my login and now can't login again.

    ETA 1: It seems to be hit and miss. ATM I am able to login but don't know if it will last.

    I was just able to login and download.  I used the login button on the main page, at the top left near the sharecg logo.

    Anyone know how to make active old account in there ? Long time not visiting sharecg now I cant login anymore ( although the pass and user name correct)

    There are PHP error messages showing at the bottom of every page. Login does not seem to work.

    yes, it seems the login is broken, I am seeing this at the bottom of the page.. I really wish they would bring it back up for a period for folks and give us a timeframe--a week isn't long enough

    It is such a shame that ShareCG is going/gone.

    Since semi-retiring last year and no longer being able to afford to buy as many Daz Studio products as I had been, I started looking around at what sort of stuff was available outside of the Daz3D Store.

    I have downloaded over 400 freebies from ShareCG, since November 2024, mostly Star Wars and Star Trek models, but also including tutorials and tools. If anyone is interested, I can try and upload a list of the files I have got, as soon as I can learn a bit of script programming.frown

    It seems their filesystem is full so it's an easy fix but no one is a full time worker there I'd guess. The host provider, II know not which because there are too many variations they could choose from, could fix it.

    I was hopping to get sickleyield's v4 m4 legacy content packs and some of those gen 4 starvwars lightsaber props .....maybe terragen assets as well.

    Quite true. I had just gone to page and logged in. I did not try to download anything.

    So sorry to everyone for teasing you  ......   oh wait wait APRIL FOOLS   ..... that's a thing right. laughblushangel

    I have these from SY (see attached image) if you want any of them, but Sickleyield ( https://www.daz3d.com/forums/profile/921322/SickleYield ) will have to post in this forum it is okay to share. If she says oui, then I will upload to my OneDrive and privately/individually share with Forum members who PM me that have posted in this discussion.

    I do not want the link publically shared or I will remove it, since I don't know how MS would react if many people downloaded from my OneDrive shared link.

    If the files are well named or in individual folders, then you could screenshot that as a reference. Like i did in the prvious post.

    Unfortunately they are spread across several subject group directories and artist sub-directories, and are using the original ShareCG file names, so it is not an easy job to screenshot them.
