Your understanding of what these do is correct.
If you've just signed up for a pro membership, give it some time. These lists are periodically calculated on our backend server for each person individually.

I am having an issue with the "% off" sort. There's a lot of things that have no discount or are maybe only around 30% off showing up when I sort by "% off". There are also things that are around 80% off, but it doesn't feel like it's reliably ordering things by discount percentage.
Hi, I have been off the site for a few weeks due to health, and now that I am back my DAZ-Deals isn't working. I use Firefox. Any thoughts, please? (Yes, it's paid up to date, lol!)... TIA! I have tried everything suggested, including uninstalling and re-installing, and it still doesn't work. (I did manage to disable the cookie notice, though, but that didn't help.) I really miss having this plug-in! Help, please? TIA.
That screenshot does look odd. The sorting should work--at least it does for me in Chrome. That, too, is dependent on data from our servers, so with a fresh install, you may have to wait a couple of hours. The best I can suggest at this point it to try again today.
What's the exact issue? Did you enter your DazDeals login details on the options page?
It's been like this for 3 or 4 days at this point. Also, the extension itself was installed several months ago (this is just the first time I subsribed for Pro features). The ordering for % doesn't seem to be changing or improving for me. Is there anything else I could try to do (as this is the main feature I wanted this for)? I thought it would be especially useful during a big month-long sale. Would removing the extension and re-installing affect anything else or make me lose anything? Would I still have that list of Hidden Items after re-installing? I'm not 100% on how things are tied to my specific user/account and I don't want to lose the long list of things I've already hidden.
Can you try it in another browser, just to see if it's the browser blocking it for some reason? There's no hidden setting for it to be honest, other than having to wait a little for data from our server--it should simply work.

Daz Deals is a browser extension. Did you actually go into Firefox's Add-on Manager and select the Extensions section and install the Daz-Deals extension? It doesn't magically show up in your browser just because you paid for the pro version; you have to install the extension. Once it is installed, you should see a little Daz icon at the top of your browser (Firefox) page. Click that to get to the Daz-Deals Options pages.
I mainly use on Chrome, but I just tried it on Firefox and see the exact same thing.
As @barbult wrote, you can access the addon's options page by clicking the addon's icon in the top right part of the browser. That's where you can enter your email address and passcode that you used for signing up to the addon.
Okay. Any firewall programs on your computer, or a firewall set up on your router that could interfere with your browser getting data from our server?
Do you correctly see the price history charts?
Charts seem to show correctly as far as I can tell. And I've got no extra firewalls or special settings that would block data over the network, just standard Windows Firewall.
I've also realized that I've not received any notification emails since signing up to Pro; it's been almsot a week. I have it set for "New Sales" and "Top 21 discounted" each day, as well as best price in 6 months and a year. I haven't received any of the Top 21 emails, and I've also seen things from my wishlist on Lightning Deals (at their lowest price in a year, lower than the charts say) but received no email notifications.
@Ati, I'm on an annual plan. How can I change the date of renewal? The first week of January has been inconvenient for the past two years.
Can you send me the email address you used to sign up for the notifications? (In private, either here, or via email.) I'll check if the address shows as active.
@Overdrawn will be able to answer this better. My suggestion would be to change to monthly when the annual is up, wait for a good time, and then start an annual again when the date is better.
Hi Ati, I have done everything I can think of - signing out, signing in, rebooting, etc ... but the app is still not showing up. I have made a screenshot, attached, of the DAZ-Deals page - it shows me as a member, but still thinks I don't have PRO status, even though the payment is still leaving my account. Maybe I need to cancel the payment debit, and then join again with a new membership? Would that work, do you think? The membership page shows I have PRO (last payment taken was 7 March), am not sure if I should just take another membership out and cancel the confused one... Meanwhile I have changed the payment method to my other bank account.
Did you go to the DAZ Deals email notification section, reenter your email (the same one you purchased Pro with) and Passcode, and then save?
don't know how to delete, sorry, the historical price graph was missing. I tried in several browsers and looking at multiple assests and all were missing the graph, then when I went back to the page, graphs were showing again.

Yes, tried that too. Am in despair. Maybe I should resign my membership, remove the Deals from my Firefox? I miss it so much!
This worked for me - log out ofthe forum AND the store, then go into your browser's security settings, find the cookie management area, and delete ALL Daz3d cookies. In Firefox this is the Tools menu, Settings, then Privacy and Security, Cookies and Site Data, and finally Manage Data. Search for Daz3D, select and then remove selected. Then go back and log into the site and the store.
Can you send me (in a private message here on the forum) the email address you are signed up to the notifications with? I'll take a look to see what's going on with it on our end.
The Chrome version of DAZ Deals works in Kiwi Browser for Android.
As a heads-up, since gallery links now expire, new gallery posts with product links come up broken in the "gallery items" section of product pages. I posted about it here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/726796/expiring-gallery-links
Example, Junk's recent images with Mousso's Ivory are not showing up...
It's been changing pretty fast, since this change is in the process of being applied retroactively it seems. Here's much-loved Ensley for G8. She's got 197 gallery entries. I zoomed way out to show DAZ Deals' 'gallery items' links for her... It looks like less than 10% of the gallery renders are showing at present.
Yeah. Thanks for the heads up. I noticed this with new images, but when I checked, old ones were still coming up fine. It looks like old ones are changing as well. We'll see what Daz ends up with, and we might have to pull this feature. :-/
Please don't pull the feature altogether - if you click on the "missing" image, it will still open the correct gallery image, it's just the thumbnails that are missing. It's a shame that it is a much less useful feture than it was, but at least you can still get to the images (which in the absence of good search facilities in the Gallery is better than nothing).
I didn't notice that and didn't think to check. Thanks for sharing that info MelanieL. Daz Deals embeds the image, but links to the gallery page! Yes, that way it still gives us some access, even if its usefulness has taken a good hit.
In other parts of the forums, embedded images link to the image itself, so once that link's altered there's no way to go to the gallery image at all.
