I would suspect there was originally a comparison with another character, using the old shaders, and the context was then lost. We have asked about this text.
Ah, that would make sense.
So, today's key item is Windows only. Even if it's free, it seems unreasonable to make Mac users get something useless to them in order to get the full benefit of the sale.
You can still put it in the cart and get the additional discount
Could someone please explain this to me? Do these expire today Monday night or tomorrow night?
You are in LA? That makes UTC eight hours later than you, so Wednesday 6th at 7AM would be 23:00 on Tuesday the fifth for you.
These depend on where in the world you are.
If you put in your time zone and the UTC time in https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/, you can check the accurate time for your time zone (it's already Tuesday in the UTC time).
Are there not supposed to be any promos for this: https://www.daz3d.com/the-gothic-library? Other than the main image, of course.
Hm, there used to be 28 extra images on the store page - here's a Wayback Machine link to the page in 2019
Shrinkflation in promo art now?
Probably a glitch, but we will ask.
That's what I thought but on the bottom it said they would expire last night Monday at Daz midnight (in 7 hours from when I checked) but when I looked under info, they expire tonight. Today it says they expire in 0 days, 0 minutes and 0 seconds which doesn't even make sense but under info, it shows the correct days and times. If you don't click on info, it's very misleading.
That's because you are west from Daz, you need to move to east coast or europe to fix that
I remember having seen that problem every now and then... Maybe the first ones were around the time US changed to DST a year ago.
Last year I was one of those people thinking the tokens were good until 7:00 am and lost 39 of them. I'm guessing I am not the only one who put in a token related ticket. And the policy is no refund of coupons or tokens. I think the clock is coded to populate earliest expiry date and if that day is today it stops the countdown as an alert to look at the info icon and use up the ones about to fall off. I consider it a huge improvement and it eliminates any chance of thinking we have more time than we do.Some people are more familiar with the caret symbol, or even +- sign to expand and collapse text but the i (info) icon typically indicates a popup containing further info. I think it's a huge improvement, but at first introduction of the clock countdown stopping to all zeroes, when multiple dates and times existed, was a bit of a head-scratcher. For those who don't code, and for any newcomers, it might be better if next to the info icon, a little text note existed eg: click for exact timeframes . . . to avoid unnecessary confusion.
I'm missing a token! Yesterday it was valid for two days and, I think, 11 hours - today it's gone. Okay, I've 'returned the favour' and thrown an item out of my cart, but of course that's no solution.
Store and forum are having problems for me.
The store sale banner pages just seem to open the store page, no description page for the sale that is in the URL.
I can't upload images to the forum; it stays in 'Uploadin" forever. This happened months ago and now it is happening again.
Same for me. Earlier in the day the Catchup sale banner opened the sale page but now it just goes to the main store page.
March Madness 2024 | Daz 3D page seems to not be there. I still have it open from last night, but if I open a new tab and try to go there, it just bounces to the main page.
All the other pages in the carousel open fine, so it seems like they've somehow removed that page?
I can't see the sales page either, and if I try to open the grab bag link from my email, it just goes to the main page. So I have no way of knowing what the grab bag items are, or what the sale conditions are.
In old school DAZ tradition this happens on the weekend...
That's because there's nobogy taking care of the hamster
From my still-open main sales page. When put in the cart, the items seem to be OK, so I would presume it's just a problem with the main page.

ETA: More links. Sorry, didn't get them all copied the first time.
Can't upload images to the forum anymore. Tried two systems (Windows & Apple) and two browsers (Firefox & Edge). Just this morning I was still able to do it, now it's forever stuck at "uploading." Anybody else?
3 "keys" today -- only need 1 to trigger the sales.

The promo page went AWOL after I started shopping, never did find the $3.99 grab bag page. But I did notice that many of the Daz+ items were nicely priced in the cart - esp. if one uses up their tokens :-)
Sigh, we can't attach files again ... got about USD$1,000 worth of stuff for less than USD$100.
NM - Added to my original post above.
Thanks for those links! They were the ones I really wanted. Now to go shop!
Just added the rest to my original post ... As long as things go in the cart with the right price, I guess we'll have to work around the broken launch page.
Sigh... If the DAZ store was a ship, it would be lying on the bottom of the ocean after having a collision with a jellyfish.
