Why don't my G2F chars look good? [Poser]

I'm just wondering what I'm doing wrong here.
I've done a few of my g2f characters but they don't look very good.
Especially the paler ones.
Do they need to be done in iRay? Is it the lighting?
These are just standard skins, not SSS.
These are Lilith and ...I can't remember the other one. It starts with an M. Looks like an elven character.
edit
With this new pic, I am certainly beginning to think it is a lighting issue.
But it only seems to work right with SSS...

    Lilith and Ninive...

You should check your lights and materials, poser and daz aren't the same in that aspect.

What am I looking for exactly? What do I need to check?

Do you have the poser CF's installed? Is the light set to slightly yellow, etc

What texture are you using, because on both characters I see darker spots all over the texture, which appears to be distinctly yellowish?

Just the standard textures for both lilith and nivine?

Based on the render artifacts (that look like AO artifacts to me, but I could be mistaken), it looks like it's probably your lights (and maybe a combination of your lights and your render settings).

Both textures render as they should for me in Poser, although I much prefer the way the SSS skins look over the normal MATs.

Images below are Lilith 6 and Ninive 6 standard MATs in PP2014. My lights are white and one with a tiny bit blue-grey.

I use i13 light helpers because I'm hopeless without it.
I did a render of Lilith with SSS and another Light Helper set (I usually just used the standard one for most renders) and it does look better but I had to really make it a low light.
But for some reason, with my G2M, I'm using the same light set as the previous images and it still looks pretty good, which I have also attached.
But the skin was originally an M4 skin.
I don't know if that makes a difference.
This is the product I use:
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/i13-pro-lights-and-light-helpers/90109

I use the base one that gets loaded when you load the sphere.
I can't find the name of the light I used second and I don't want to open my poser right now ):
    edit:
Theres postwork in both images, so the one with Lilith actually has a little less detail on the face than what came out in Poser.

The skin on that G2M looks yellowish to me too, so it may be a toned light you are using... the product you refer to appears to have toned lights as well.
I however can't help much concerning poser lights and render artifacts, as I am a DS user.

idk why you say he is yellow
i'm guessing because i gave the postwork image a 'warmish' tone?
either way he's not yellow on this monitor he's just kind of tan.
This is what he looks like without postwork, albiet the lighting is in a slightly different location

Certainly has a yellow tone on my screen.

Saba's images do not have that and come up as normal colors.

I own that light set and loaded it to have a look at the default lighting on load, and the default IBL has a very pronounced green-ish / yellow-ish cast to it. That's why your light skinned characters look like they do (and why it works with the darker toned / tanned skins). If you look at the IBL light in the material room, you will see what I mean.

I would suggest you try a different light set or a different i13 Pro Studio preset as they may work better for the types of skin tones you're using.
