Aw, love it Spit! Fun concept, and those Twins have such expressive eyes. Thanks for sharing.
Did you render this with Iray? Have you used a Default camera? And if yes, have you turned the Headlamp off?
Thanks! And thank YOU for those wonderful poses and orphanage. These two make four out of four of your products I had to have. Can't wait to see what you offer up next.

Rendered in 3Delight, added camera, headlamp off. Only light is UE2. Gamma correction ON 2.2.
I tried to render the girl but either her skin was all white or too reflective.
To help, you must specify your render engine (3Dlight, iRay) and give us a little picture.
If it is iRay, you must use the default iRay material provided in the library for Genesis 2 Female. If you use a camera, do not forget to switch off the light. To get quick, you can also change the gamma factor which is set to 2.2 by default to a less value (1.8).
I wonder if Iray's photorealism approach is really the right tool for the job with the Little Twins anyway...?
After almost two months of 60-70 hour weeks and pretty much zero time for rendering and forum participation, I'm finally getting some "free" time.
Here's my first run with the Little Twins as the base for a young superhero team (once again, an absolutely awesome bunch of packages guys!). It's a quick test of aging them slightly, with just throwing some default supersuits on 'em. As always with my toons, I'm having trouble getting the ages right. I'm shooting for around 14 years old, but I don't think I'm hitting it, I think they still look a little young.
The Twins, no post, rendered in 3DL with a bit of Animated Style Man and Stephanie mixed in.

Wonder Woman and Nightwing, cooollll!!! (and a little of the Atom surround them :) ) Did you use the Supersuit for the dresses? Like the textures.
Interesting as usual :)
As mentioned, I've been mostly out-of-touch the last couple of months due to overwhelming work commitments and a few personal matters (eg. My 21-year old daughter decided to move to South Korea to teach English for a year, land of Yellow Dust and the MERS outbreak).
My apologies for not finding the time to comment on some of the cool picts of late, here's a little catch-up:
@carrie58: Love them all; Noodle fits in perfectly! Love the snail shot as well, the expressions of wonder are absolutely perfect. 3djoji has done an amazing job capturing the spirit of youth in these characters, absolutely amazing.
@MrPoser: Great shot, which basketball court is that?
@Spit: Love the little dog looking so guilty, it matches so many puppies I’ve had over the years. As far as brightness, it views perfectly on my iMac, iPad and iPod.
@RCT-Spanky: Thanks for the comment, I loved your shot as well. They really do take other clothing nicely, and you’re right, they’re not overly-toony, which should make it easier for them to fit in with other characters and settings. Regarding the superhero outfits, they’re just the supersuit with Rawn’s generic superhero textures: http://www.daz3d.com/hero-factory-classics
The atom was interesting; I thought I'd place 3dUniverse's toon atom in the scene behind the characters as a background, but it popped into place almost perfectly, with the electron paths circling around both characters. I'm going to have to play more with it.
@3djoji: Thanks for the comment, but more importantly thanks to you and the other vendors for such an incredible character set. You’ve really done an incredible job you guys, I’m so impressed. I hope to have some time in the next couple of weeks to catch up on 3D, and I think the Twins are going to take up a lot of it.
Thanks again,
Walt Sterdan
I managed to squeeze a couple of test in this afternoon between bouts of real work; Teen Lantern uses the Superset Basic suit, and the Little Rocket Ranger uses parts of one of my favourite ToonGen sets, Little Heroes. No postwork, straight renders. One very minor issue, the navels. I think it's great to include a navel for customers who don't have a morph pack, but I think vendors should then also include "No navel" morph, otherwise when I auto fit bodysuits and such they pick up the navel and I have a hard time getting rid of them (as in the Teen Lantern shot).

Little Space Cadets: testing some minor character adjustments on the female and some female toon hair. Loving the Little Twins.

Ooops, accidental post, please ignore. :red:
Walt: You have such a terrific knack with these figures. Glad you finally have some time to play with them. They look sooo capable of great adventures joyous and not but mostly joyous. Waiting for more...
This is my first render with a Little Twin, posing her beside Sadie. LT's hair is Dawn's GlamPonytail (G2F auto-fit by Dany66). It didn't work very well
Every now and then I zip through pieces of my runtimes and I'm overwhelmed by the thousands and thousands of hours that have gone into providing all the bits and pieces I enjoy playing with, they really are phenomenal artists, and I can't image what I'd be doing without them.
Well, I can almost imagine... I think one of my very first 3D toon characters and animation tests from 1998 or so is still here (actually, that's the date I archived the model, the animation was done a year or two earlier using Infini-D):

Yikes, talk about crude. It's almost a little embarrassing... ;-)

In honour of Canada Day (Wednesday, July 1st) I decided to try converting 3djoji's RCMP outfit. I only did a quickie conversion, and except for the buttons distorting it came through okay. It appears that the young Cadet has discovered a clue in the "Disappearance at the Old Janson Orphanage" case.

Of course, the hair of Dawn is not at all appropriate for the Little twins. These are designed as props and can not fit really to a morphed character like the twins. To get it right a new morph should be applied to these hairs.
about the Dawn hair, you can play with the size/Translate parameters to get it near a good shape, for instance I did this one :
You got way better results than I did. First time I tried one of Dany's numerous hair autofits for G2F. Computer time was running out, so I just slapped it on, moved a few sliders, and hit render. I was surprised that I even got a render since I've been having computer problems. I love working with the Little Twins, the little bit I have so far.
On your render, it seems that Sadie is very small compare to the little twins. I made a render, compare size of Sadie for Genesis and Littletwins for Genesis 2 F. It seems that the size is the same :
As soon as I get more time, I will do more playing with these. The only thing I resized was the ponytail hair. Come to think of it, I have 2 Sadies and don't know which one I used.
I hope you've had some more time to play with the twins, Anne. I finally had a chance to, and since Ryder also jumped right into my cart I put together a toon family with a Ryder-Cory dad (Keiko joined in the fun).
I love the default textures on the Twins but also really like the Ryder eye materials which all 4 characters have here. (Kids poses come from my Hard Times poses.)
Could be wrong, but it sounds like you're using the stand-alone Sadie. Give it a go with the Genesis version and see if that helps.
Awwwww. Sweet and the group posing is very very nice. Such cuties.
Thanks Spit. :)
Like the expressions on their faces, especially the one from the little girl. Looks like a real family. Great job on that picture.

I just did a quick side-by-side comparison shot, without any complications from poses. Proportions are quite different; overall height is very close to the same.
