The Little Room comes with 2 "Sleeping" poses for the LittleTwins and the featherBed has a morph to fit (and of course the Pillow can be morphed for the head) :
It looks like a piece of theatre at school, isn't he cute? :-)
I've never really done much with 'Toons, but I'm now thinking of maybe reworking one of my character libraries into a 'Toon version for variety. So far, all the human figures are Genesis 1, and I was going to need to rework them anyway...
I'mmmmmm waiting...........still waiting !!!Are the twins here yet?????? Okay I'm still waiting!!
I've found another cloth to try on them in case we need pirates' comedy :-)
The twins do look particularly good in costume type clothes.

I've found some more ..
Grrrrrrrrrrrr!! Okay that's it 3djoji !! You stop playing with the Twins right now and give them to me ,honestly now do you expect to get any money out of me if you keep playing with them???? .........umm you do know I'm kidding right??? Well not about wanting them now but .......oh well.
The differents items are still at packaging at DAZ, we wait like you to get them in the shop, it is no more in our hands...but they will come certainly soon. In the meanwhile, I just show some more test shots I've made during the long long development of those. I hope I didn't hurt anybody doing like that :( because I wouldn't...
Unfortunately, I must apologize to all other vendors in advance, because I have to save my money for the Twins this month.
Not my fault, I never posted this picture for sure...
So they are Genesis 2 which means they can be mixed with other Genesis 2 figures? Looks good.

Okay so we are all waiting ........no hurt feelings here ,warped sense of humor but I had that already ,and I really do love your test shots .........
I just don't do well waiting .........
Heya, I did a Cory progression for you, at 20% intervals. I thought Cory might be the Little Twins' uncle or something. I'd also like to see tails and cat's ears and tiger textures and stuff, and possibly someone will in the future. The best news is, with the Little Twins being based off the Genesis 2 shapes, there are many possibilities already out there.
The only Iray specific materials are the ones I did with four skin colors, and lots of eye options. The Little Twins base material looks very good in Iray without any modifications. You will not be disappointed with how versatile, and completely cute they are.
cheers!
Thanks for the picture of Uncle Cory. That was exactly what I'm asking for. Sorry that I didn't explain it better. Another more reason to wait for this great double.
George, can you please tell me, which armor did you use on the last pic? It looks so brilliant (and BTW: I think Redspark work on a similar one for Chip since ages).
It looked familiar to me so I'll jump in and save 3djoji the need... it's Alruna if I'm not very much mistaken: http://www.daz3d.com/alruna
you are not mistaken, it is Alruna for genesis which means that genesis clothes may work very well on this twins mesh :)
Just to share a little twins more, I mix Gianni6 and the Little twins, adding a smoothmodifier to mesh, Cody Hair and the LittleTwins materials. The render is 3dlight, no postwork :-)
no comment, just to share that one
Playing a little with iRay and the Little Twins, just to answer some questions. I made a little render in iRay with basic skin color and basic iRay stuffs that we can found in DAZ Studio 4.8, no postwork
Wonderful 3Djoji ! I can't wait until the little twins come out. It is also great to know they work with Iray as well.
Thanks!
Becasue The Little Twins is a full body morph for Genesis 2, it can add plenty of variety to the G2 gene pool. I tried a few dial spin morph mixes just to see what would happen. Adds that extra litlte bit of variety that can make characters unique.
Yea, been looking at all the toon types being released lately. This will probably be the bundle I go for. I like what I see so far. Are you actually doing fits for the clothing items your showing in the renders or is this all auto fit? I ask because then if it's auto fit then do the Poser users get left out in the cold? I'm a DS user but like to see products that can be enjoyed in both programs equally when possible. Thanks!
I am pretty sure autofit (or at least autofollow) works in poser too, it simply transfers the morph to the clothing using a python script. What will not work in poser is fitting a non-duf item, or duf with no poser companion files to the Genesis 1/2 model. However once the item is on it will follow any morph that the figure contains so should work just fine with the little twins morph.
I might add that the little twins body morph does not look radically different from non-toon humans so clothing (particularly male clothing) will follow its shape just fine without needing any special morph for each item, as can be seen in the many promos already posted by 3djoji and others.
Yea, the body shapes look just smoothed out and thinner but still, you will get some strange stuff in certain poses. I'm building some clothing for Dusk from Hivewire and let me tell you, proper fits for FBM's are a must ... the auto generated ones are kinds not working in allot of instances. The DAZ figures probably work a bit differently.....
The genesis2 technology has the power of auto fit, that means of course that everything designed for genesis2 should fits all the morphs. For correcting some little defaults or pokes, some smoothing or collision motors are included in DAZ Studio. Of course, sometimes, for a particular morph, because of some extreme deformations of some parts of the base body mesh, it is necessary to "inject" JCM or FBM morphs in the cloth. All the examples shown here using clothing out of the actual Genesis 2 Male or Female library (even the most recent ones) are auto fits, no supplemental smooth or collision factor, no extra work was done.
I don't know how it works for Poser, neither I know well the transfer to Poser of Genesis 2 character and Clothing. IMO, If you want to get all the power of this genesis 2, the best use should be to pose it in DAZ Studio program and perhaps make post working to integrate both Poser and DAZ Studio Renders in Photoshop (for instance).
Good to know that all these clothing items are working that well out of the box. The pants I'm making have about 15 JCM's for bending but that's just for more natural wrinkles and cloth "smoosh" lol A good many of the clothing for Genesis has allot of JCM's and probably a few MCM's too.
In any case these products look really good and will be a good addition to the morph pool.
featuring another item "out of the box". This Iray render was made using the sun&sky;, only default (I prefer the other setting). Nothing has been added to improve the render. This is done to show how things are when used "out of the box". Background, logos and text inserted with photoshop - no postwork.
Teasing, teasing, teasing and just waiting that the Twins hit finally the store. :(
this is not the Little Twins release only, remember, there are more items foreseen with this one, 8 PA are involved for 10 items at launch time.. what I can say is that we are near the commercial schedule review.
