Adding Special Effects (ie lasers, explosions, etc)

Okay, another newbie question. Trying to only stay within DAZ 4.5 -- what are good (ie easy to use) add ons or elements to help render special effects (ie lasers, explosions, debris, etc)?

I recently picked up Atomspheric Effects Cameras for DAZ Studio and it seems really useful for what it is...fog and such.
I also have Rons Explosions which really rocks...but is only useful in Photoshop.

Suggestions? Comments?
I should add, that my intention (with nearly all my work) are cover designs. Right now, I am focusing on Sci-Fi. Thanks in advance.

There are two PAs I can think of that have special effects packs that you may be able to use.
