Good day everyone! I hope everyone is having a great time! :cheese:

40Fs here, no rain/snow/sleet yet. If it holds off I'm going to get some enchiladas and quesadillas to bring home to eat today and tomorrow (the place is closed Sunday, foo). :)

Bought a couple of things on sale.. I got the Cicada! :cheese: It'll make a great monster for horror pinups (the kind I could only put on my DA site). :red:

My USB hub came in so everything is FINALLY connected. :blank: USB HD, both keyboard controllers, the wireless mouse, and my Windows 8.1 tablet, and with the power strip my Android tablet is plugged into the charger. My desk looks like starship control central.. will post pics sometime.

Gotta record a song today.. I need 2 tunes for the next Ambient Online compilation. :ahhh: Finally found my niche lol! :bug:

Hopefully I can work in a pinup this weekend.. I got this cute hair and hat that would look sexy on a pinup.. hee hee! :snake:

Back to work.. need to grind coffee.. and I'm out of Velton's Treehouse Blend beans! :shut:

Complaint: Feeling like crap. Personal reasons, won't go into much as to why (Well, I could but the reason kinda sounds a bit silly when I say it out loud, so I'll keep it to myself for now....)

Non-complaint: Feeling a bit better now (The mood set in a few hours ago) but only a bit.
Playing STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT 2!!! Okay, so normally Star Wars games don't interest me. At all. To any extent. Whatsoever. BUT THIS GAME! Loved it soooo much <3 Easily one of my favorite games ever of all time. Was so happy to see it on GoG and Steam. </p>

Droidworks was another SW game I loved, would be fun to see that on GoG sometime. Steam might pick it up since they've got oldies like Wizardry, but I doubt either service would really get it. :(
*Edit* Okay well maybe Steam won't pick it up. I don't think they have the original Wizardry games which were super-old, but GoG carries ancient titles like the initial Ultima games (Ultima Adventures, Ultima Underworld, etc) and even give away Ultima IV for free. So they'd be more likely to pick up a clunky old yet still awesome game like Droidworks than Steam IMO. But I've been proven wrong before so who knows!

    I still wanna see Paraworld and Age of Empires I...... ;__;

Their website went down yesterday after I wrote a response to the trouble ticket. The customer support person wrote back in the middle of the night EST. I think he is working from Europe. He was able to remove my IP address from the ban. yay, now I can read the immature posts on the adult forum. lol, just kidding. I wonder if there are any good art related threads that I missed. *goes to look for the art sub-forum*

Just sent out for Chinese.. miso soup, wonton soup, pupu platter and moo goo gai pan :) :) Should last all day and into tomorrow for breakfast!

Almost done with my first track for the weekend! When I have two controller keyboards I can layer parts "live".. it's more like performing than composing. And it makes me wildly productive and creative, run away! :ahhh:

Beer now.. food soon.. then fun time! :cheese:

I'm sure it has a different meaning translated into English. Otherwise, who would even give it a try? I can't remember what it had, but I used to get it now and then years ago at a restaurant named The China Royal, in Fall River, MA. It was a great place. they closed it several years ago. The children didn't want to take over the business when the owners retired. Too bad. It was the best one I've been to. I still haven't found one that makes Shrimps with Lobster Sauce quite as good as they did. One or two have come close. They had beautiful decor, too. The owner actually imported hand carved wood ceiling tiles...red with gold designs. He started out in this little tiny storefront type, squeezed in between a big movie theater and another business. The food was always great. Eventually, he bought this property and put up his own building. Diane and I ate there once every month or two when we were dating. And, of course, we went a lot after we were married. Everyone was sad when they closed their doors for the last time.

Well, enough boring stuff about me.

Not just New York. We'll be getting it here in Massachusetts, too. Last night the forecast was for about a foot in my area. Another foot of snow! I am not sure where I'll put it. The mounds are getting high and I can only toss a shovel full of heavy snow so far. I haven't even completely shoveled out the driveway yet. I just made a space for Diane's car to juuuuust fit. I have to open it up a little more, she had trouble getting into it.

Did I mention that I hate the winter? No? I hate the winter!

    yay for R&R

Wasn't R&R, was the house move from Hell. We only moved just over a mile, to the next village which tends to bleed into the other one anyway nowadays. However we did manage to move to probably the only house in the village that didn't have a landline connected. Took a week to get the landline connected for the telephone and then another week and a bit to get the broadband enabled. All during some of the worst weather we have had for yonks, like we moved with torrential icy rain and winds, sometimes blowing at gale force, after waking up to 3 inches of snow fallen overnight on moving day. As it was such a near move we were doing a do it yourself move with help from a friend, but at the last minute were let down over the van we were due to borrow and ended up with a smaller one, so more trips to make. Very complaint worthy move it was.

The old rule that I recall is that if snow stayed on the ground for 3 days, it was waiting for more to fall. :)

Going by that one, I think it's going to just keep snowing again and again. This stuff is going nowhere soon. :shut:
