How is 'Transfer Utility' accessed? Not sure I've heard of it before.

There is a button for it in the toolbar - a filled in circle with an arrow going up and to the right from it to an empty circle.

Also in the Edit->Figure menu and the Edit->Object menu.

It will transfer any or all of weight maps, selection maps, face groups, region groups, surface groups and morph targets from a traix rigged figure to an object or other triax rigged figure.

One primary use is to take the objects of modelled clothes for G2F, G2M or Genesis, and rig them by transferring everything from the G2F, G2M or Genesis.

And you can convert clothes from one figure to another with it, like with Autofit but more control.

And it wil transfer morphs from anything to anything. If the two things are the same shape - like V4, and G2F's V4 morph or clone - then it acts as a morph converter from the one figure to the other. To take a morph from V4 to G2F, you need to (a) load V4 with appropriate morph(s) injected (don't have to be actually dialled) and G2F; (b) select V4 and use the otpion to convert her to triax weightmapping (simply because transfer utility will only recognize triax figures as sources); (c) open Transfer Utility and set V4 as the source and G2F as the target, choosing the Item Shape of the V4 clone or morph; (d) 'show options, and in the General options column, untick everything except 'Morph Targets'; (e) select Morph Targets, go to its advanced options and select the morphs(s) you want to transfer; (f) hit accept.

As mentioned above, it transfers the morph, but only uses the internal dial name for both the name and the label that appears on the dial, and doesn't copy over limits etc, so those may need to be edited in the paraneters pane for the transferred morphs.

Then you need to save the morphs, of course.

(it's surprising how little effort DAZ has spent pointing out that there is a built in morph transfer tool; or pointing out that 'map transfer' will convert textures from one UV to another, come to that.)

I thought it was possible to use GenX to transfer people to Genesis 2, or some such thing?

    Yes, that's correct.

You can translate any V3, V4, or Genesis morphs to Genesis 2. Provided you also purchase the add-on packs. Look it up in the store:

http://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=generation+genx+genx2And that means a LOT of work for some of us.:shut:

I would say Lexi Belle fits the face a little better. Do a google image search and see for yourself - warning, may return NSFW results.

I'm really glad I didn't do that search with my kids in the room. You could have mentioned she was a porn star.

Sure I could have but then again I dont really see explicit images on that search and it was just about her face and nothing else.

Does anyone know of a Victoria 4 character that looks like the late Anita Ekberg, or can have her face morphs tweaked without too much work to look like her?

With those cheekbones and nose, I'm definitely team Collins on this one.

Sorry, I'm ot seeing Joan Collins OR Jane Fonda at all. And the ReadMe says she's supposed to be mature and 1960s - both Joan and Jane were quite youthful then.

Looks more like someone like Capucine, maybe.

I haven't seen the ReadMe, but the editorial product description mentions that the character is based on "nostalgia memories of [the artist's] childhood", which at least hints that the character is an amalgam. If the '60s is the right era, Italy is the right region -- which I arrived at for no other reason than the Marro River being in southern Italy (Calabria) -- and costuming in the promo pics provides any sort of hint, then the character might be a mix of actresses from the peplum period of Italian cinema (sword and sandal movies), from the late '50s through the mid '60s. Gianna Maria Canale is one of the better known actresses from that period, but there were hundreds of films and almost as many female leads.

This is the picture of Collins that Marro reminds me of:

Collins was my first thought when I saw her. If she's supposed to be someone else or an amalgam, I think she still works as a very passable Collins.

I saw the question pass by, but didn't see an answer, so I think that -IF- someone replied, it was through a PM.

Are there people willing to take comissions?
I myself am of the -WORST- patience with Daz and morphs and trying to make it close to resembling people. Not knowing how to properly make textures is another problem.

And thanks to the movies as of late, I'm really looking hard for some awesome Lee Pace/Thranduil, Armitage/Thorin etc 'Clones' to use. The Aiden Turner is -miine- allready, that one was perfection. Anyone know of some, or willing to make a (buyable) version of all our Hobbity friends?
