    Clowns, Comics, Jesters & Fools

The jester is Toon Elf with a lot of redone textures.  The hat was a Rendo freebie.  Lorenzo is replicated.  Carrara text.

    No postwork.

HW - Wow.  I enjoyed the clown animation.  What a high standard to set straight off the bat.  Too bad about the bvh issue. Will have to watch for that.

Wendy - NFCs!  You might be happy to know that the market is thinning.  The number of active traders fell by half.  Rarely a good sign in any asset market. Love your take on Clown NFCs, and am glad you shared it in the WIP thread.  (and secretly hoping you reconsider entering).

Stezza - McClown is a very famous clown, indeed.  Are the others clowns?  Is the McBurglar a clown?  Lorenzo never looked so good.

UB - Creative use of the toon elf.  Unrelated - don't know if anyone saw that Dave Chappelle may get a sued by the guy that attacked him on the legal theory that security exceeded its authority after it was clear the performers were safe.

Circus bear.  Back in the day, circuses had elephants, and lions, and bears, and...   So here is a toon bear with preliminary rigging but no weightmapping.  I think this will be the last of my base figures.  I will do some variations on my toon male and female to get the ringmaster, etc, but I think I have what I need to get started.

Very clever and creative HW.  Excellent use of music, sound effects, and movement.

In terms of animation it may be considered somewhat simple, but for me at least, the whole was much greater than the sum of its parts.

It was the most fun Carrara animation I have seen in a long time. yes

thank you :) Life is short so simple is good. The firest animation I ever made was with anim8or and it went for 20 mins and it was a boring as all s*^&^&t!!!

thanks @Diomede and @Stezza for yoyr kind comments too.

I started Carrara with the goal of animation.  Back in the 90's I was a video editor.  So, I bought Phil's course shortly after it came out.  But I never even opened it.  Phil said that you need to fully understand Carrara beforehand, and I was still pretty much a rookie.  Besides, regular renders are so satisfying. smiley

Just opened his course for the first time and started watching videos.  No promises.  A daunting amount of work ahead.

Stezza - nice Mac attack, love the pet rock - got me thinking about someone with his bit of coal !!!

    Headwax - great animation !!

Wendy - gruesome clowns you have !!

UB - Jester looks awesome !!

Diomede - woohoo, a bear as well !!!!

Me - like UB I have been watching PhilW's Animation Tutorials - also no promises but I'll give it a try !

Headwax if you have Inagoni Baker you might want to bake those global shaders for animation unless the psycadelic movement is what you are going for enlightened
