How do I fix clothes pop in?

frown So I just imported a scene into Blender from Daz Studio, but clothes are still popping in through the models, not fitting as intended. How do I fix this in Blender? is there a demorph type of tool in Blender? How do I select the bones of the clothes?

You can fix them using SCULPT tool . As long you`re not bring back those model into DAZ studio again , you can literally use any sculpt tools to fix it .

    Here the simple walkthorugh ,

    • Open plus sign like outliner just like you find or select conformed/parented object in DAZ scene tab
    • Find and select the clothes object ( make sure you`re still in OBJECT mode not EDIT - SCULPT or POSE etc )
    • With object selected change OBJECT MODE into SCULPT mode  , the left area will changes with bunches of SCULPT Tools
    • Choose GRAB sculpt tool , then try use it in area you want to fix
    • Play with RADIUS - STRENGTH _ FALL OFF setting for more precise with your need
    • Back to Object Mode if you`re done .

Optional : save it as new custom shape key ( Custom morph if in DAZ ) . Find tutorial in youtube for create new Shape key

If you use diffeomorphic it bakes from the viewport so you get "pops" only if they are in daz studio to start with. In which case you can either fix them in daz studio first or in blender as @juvesatriani explains.

Yeah, I'm using diffeomorphic actually. It usually does a really good job transferring the scene exactly as you left it in Daz Studio. It just didn't exactly workout this time.

smiley Man, this sculpt tool works even better than the deformer tool in Daz Studio, WAY better. I really need Blender in my life man.

If there's any smoothing be sure interactive update is on otherwise it won't be exported. But you can also use a shrinkwrap in blender instead that's usually better.

I would add a new shape key in Blender first before start sculpting. I use mostly the grab and elastic deform brush while working on the base mesh.

Small tip: If you can't rename a shape key or a vertex group name, just switch off any subdiv modifier in viewport. Then renaming works again :)

I just select the mesh, go into edit mode, select the vertices that are poking through, assign them to a new group and name the group. Then I go to object mode and add a mask modifier. Choose the new group as the vertices you want to mask and invert it. Boom. NO poke through. In fact, if the clothes cover most of the body, I automatically hide almost all vertices just to be sure. I used to delete the vertices, but that causes more problems that it is worth...masking is better.
