    I got Beulah Hair. It wasn't even on my radar but when I saw it this morning I immediately thought it's the perfect hair for a female fantasy knight or adventurer.
    Maybe I will post a render later.

    I can't quite make the latter work, though. Is anyone else having this problem?
    Admittedly I didn't try too hard, I'll give it another go later.

    I got the other Ergou hair, Luoqu Hair for G8.1F, because I've been wanting it since I saw the hair pins on the Luoqu character promos, that were then removed at the time.

    Some things I got for free recently: Beulah Hair, Daisy*, Mattymanx' Face Paint, Hameleon's Canyon, Winter Adventurer boots by Deecey.

    Turns out Beulah Hair doesn't look great against bright backgrounds like the sky here, so I had to do some Photoshop magic.

    * Well, she already was in my library. But she would have been for free!

    did you first apply the attachement (geoshell?) for the Cyber eyes? i guess the different material only apply there. for me they worked fine...

    I did apply the geoshell...

    Not sure what I was doing wrong yesterday because now it's working fine smiley

    so i got myself the fantastic https://www.daz3d.com/egyptian-pharaoh-makeup - believe it or not, just yesterday i was making an egyptian themed scene and i searched for hours all over my libraries, non-installed-yet freebies, and then all over the net, and couldn't find anything, so i ended up using makeup combined from 2 sets, looked kinda vaguely egypt-ish... but it wasn't the same... also, this comes with a beautiful headdress, that will probably look a lot better on my chara than the hair i picked. anyways, i was absolutely ecstatic about my new free gift ^^ - thanks daz!

    wow, this i call going out with a bang! last day of the year, new biweeklies - and a real male fest! cool! i already own at least half, but while the rest isn't G8 it's still from this century (i guess, lol). laughyes

    thanks daz, and i hope this is promising for the year to come! a lot of male stuff, way less "little black/red little numbers" or similar generic cloned party dresses, way less items like textures that entail having the anyway long outdated base product first (still waiting for at least 4 products i got free textures for to pop up in the freebies...) -> and especially, more products that haven't been advertized on cave paintings back in their day!

    and since i'm here anyways - happy new year everyone ^^

    I already had the Hiro stuff but Ashe and Colonel Chaos are new to me and I will probably be able to use them, too!

    Is DAZ giving up on the biweekly freebies. No new freebies today and the  old ones are gone. The only item left is Henrietta Heart Hen which has been there for months.

    yup, and it already irritated me to no end whilst mixed with all other items. now it's alone in the middle of a white space, merrily glaring at me, and i feel like sitting on the floor and crying a little.

    so finally, i think i have found the only solution to never see that chicken ever again: i'm gonna "purchase" it.
    ofc i'm never ever gonna download it, no way in hell, but at least it will be GONE. FROM. THE. FREEBIE. PAGE. FOREVER.

    EDIT:  mmhhh... tho... i don't look at the freebie page that often, usually only after someone announces new biweeklies. and if i get that thing, it's gonne glare at me in my library, stuck there forever, every single time i look at my purchased products thumbnails. not a good feeling.
    aaargh, and i thought i had just found the ultimate counterattack. so, not happeneing either. *sits on the floor and cries a little*

    Who knows when the next release could be, or even what day. Release days sometimes shift after a long hiatus, though it's usually a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. We've weathered many dry seasons before and we shall preserve again.

    Can you pick $15 worth of select items and nothing else and that $15 worth of items is free and you can check out as is... or do you need to pick a bunch of not free stuff in addition to whatever select items and then the coupon code applies?... 

    If it's the first one, that's pretty generous... but if it's the second one, it should be stated a little clearer.

    Thats too good to be true... 

    It's gotta be a trap... Just like that thing with the "free" pork chop on a plate in the woods... next thing you know you wake up with a tranquilizer dart in your butt and radio tag clipped to your ear... I keep falling for that cuz it's a pork chop... but now I'm too skittish about that sorta stuff.

    Still... if it was a free pork chop...

    Yeah, the dart... Pain in the butt, but the two environments worth $24.95 made it worth testing.

    $25 worth...but, is it $25 full price or $25 sale price?  As it is, I don't see many things that would allow more than one item in the cart, at the sale price.  For example, the Future Cityscape Density Blocks.  Even at the sale price, there isn't much else you could add to it and not go over $25.  And if it means the full price, then that's it.  I suppose you could get a couple of things that are on sale for $11 and change, but not much else can be combined without going over.  Limited budget here.
