[Apple Joins Blender Developer Fund] and has initially provided support for Metal.
I haven't seen this yet in the master branch, I updated yesterday, but I'm curious w\to see what this means for my Mac Mini.

Apple will also be providing resources beyond just funding (e.g. engineering support to the Blender dev team).
This definitely changes things as now I can view Blender as a long-term solution. And the additonal GPU support on Macs will be surely welcomed.
