I keep it short, the next RRRR is ready!

The RRRR Back to renders contest.
The long and hopeless summer is over, now we’re all back indoors to make fun renders.

This round is themeless, now your imagination can run wild!

For all who have no clue what the RRRR is, it stands for “Random Runtime Roulette Renders”.


Who can play?

Anyone can play!

How do you prepare yourself for play?

The rules are very simple, but first you need to have all your items in some kind of order in a text file, dumped from the itemized history into a text file or a spread sheet. Remove things like software, gift certs, and special plugins from the list.
Then you use a randomizer to randomly pick 4 items from your list (your Runtime/My Library). You can use items from any store.

Lucky Bastard Rule!
Anyone who won a prize (place 1-3 or a big prize) last RRRR, the RRRR Freak Accidents needs to pull one extra item for each placement just for being a lucky bastard. I think this means Karibous will have a whopping seven ítem pull this round.

Randomizer that works well:random.org
Randomizer where you get all numbers in one draw:All at once

There are some situations where you allowed to redraw, these are:

- You picked something that doesn’t work, broken thing, only works in a version / software not used etc etc.


- You picked a software or add-on to a software or anything you should have filtered out from the list.


- You picked only huge environment props and will not be able to render a scene without crashing.


- You picked an item you already have been using in two RRRR renders in this content and that was picked randomly. Three is a curse - rule!

Bundles


If you pull a bundle, use two, three complete items from it, or more if you like, but you do not need to use all, but only picking a hairpin from V4 Complete Bundle is “too little”. Clarification: A bundle still counts as only one pulled item.

The rules of madness!


Now you have successfully picked 4 items (plus any Lucky bastard pulls), make a scene, you can add other items as well but the one you picked should be prominent or cleverly used. Render it, post it and make us all laugh! Remember though that the renders must follow the TOS of the forum.

The contest categories!


There are two categories, Funniest and Best, you get it. A fun render might maybe not be a super great render but will cause the viewer to fall of the chair laughing.

Contest duration!

It stats now, and will go on until Sunday September 28 at 23:59:59 local DAZ time.

Yes, this time we limit the number of entries per person to seven, seven the number should be.

    Totte, this doesn't make sense. "Use two three complete items from it."
    Are you saying two OR three?

    I frankly always thought that if you pull a bundle, you should have to use two items and it should count as two items, or you should just use one major component (emphasis major) and it should count at one item. That's just my opinion. I haven't ever drawn bundles, so it's not from personal experience. Just a thought.

    two three (depends on bundle size, big one, at least three items,s till count as one, small bundle, at least two items, still count as one.

    I will do my first pull later today, but first I want to finish the main story quests in Elder Scrolls Online! Hmmm, priorities!

    Okay, all -- listen up!

    Mini-contest!

    So, it seems that the copy of Poser 10 in the prize pool keeps getting passed around because those who win it either already own it, or are not Poser users. Since the poor, lonely software was most recently handed off to me, instead of having it mournfully wait for an owner, I've decided to actively find it a good home. To that end, I announce a mini-contest!

    Rules:
    1) All standard RRRR rules apply and all mini-contest entries will also be part of the end-of-the-month vote.
    2) Mini-contest theme: "Things you really shouldn't reuse, reduce, or recycle."
    3) When posting your entry, please add "RECYCLE" after your tag # and title. Make sure you post to the entries-only thread, too.
    4) Please don't enter the contest if you have no interest in Poser 10. You are, of course, welcome to create a "recycle" themed entry, but if you aren't interested in the prize, then leave the "RECYCLE" off of your image's tag.
    5) I shall act as supreme ruler of the universe and judge the mini-contest. *evil genius laughter*
    6) Mini-contest ends Wednesday, September 10 at 23:59:59 local DAZ time. (The RRRR contest itself doesn't end until the 28th.) Allowances of up to 30 minutes will be made for exploding toilets...
