I felt an overwhelming desire to render a wool hat
also another advantage of strand hair - you can just brush it under a hat
Distractions
"Have you seen this?"
"Yes Boss"

What armor is that that goes under the chin?
Early 80s in Berlin
Just a little Dune tribute (fingers crossed about the new Villeneuve version).
Blade Runner 2049 tribute.
An album cover. Available to license and download through ArtGrab.
Reminds me of a scene from Blade Runner 2049
Well done
Thank you. I meant 2049, of course.
I got a few new shader packs I'm testing out
I feel like recital hall and auditorium is pretty good for this because it has a few material zones but not too few or too many and everything loads all around you
Shaders used are polished concrete from Mec4d PBS Shaders vol.2 and the rest from Ultra Sci Fi Shaders. I also added a meshlight from Iradiance HDRI Mesh Lights
Sci Fi Shaders used again but on the ship. The skin came with the alien but I adjusted the shader settings
And finally testing out more mesh lights I bought in the coffee shop. I used a cyberpunk HDRI since I thought it'd go good to give a sense of something outside the coffee shop
Really nice render, good work!
very good render,I love it.
Pretty likely to be my last render of the year.

I'm learning more about skin shaders after getting a tutorial on it and iray skin manager and these are some experiments. Shin Yeon's skin had different settings like SSS Mono so I worked within that
"Trust me, I'm the Doctor"
Dumping some renders:
I've been doing rather flat lighting so I decided to balance it out
And these ones I really like particularly the dupioni material on the shirt
Used the weekend to finish up an old render I started awhile back.
Kitty Pryde and Lockheed (from the X-Men)
"Let sleeping dragons lie..."
"Good Morning Night City"
Daz Studio 4.14 Iray w/ dForce
Photoshop
I'll just throw this into the thread because I was amused by it.
I'll point out my use of Filament here because I found it useful. Normally, my Viewport is in Texture shaded mode. I used Filament to quickly visualize the HDRI, the lighting direction of the HDRI... then I did a quick render in Iray.
Filament was super useful, although I did not actually render anything with it.
Anyway, here's Geralt of Rivia with man boobs.
That is amazing. I like it. Great Job
Home Office (this time with a little bit of post work)
Subway Ambush
A gurl, walking her dog...
Angelic!
Bear Pickings
Not a lot to eat in early spring.
Ultrascenery Oaks, Ultrascatter Frosted Bush and Flower Heads, DA Let it Snow, AM Brown Bear with Fibre Hair and Catalyzer Cubs.

I played with the dForce settings on Gown of Fantasy 1 and added silk shaders and messed with the settings. The blocker seems like it adds structure so I turned up its dynamic strength to .50 and GSM to 600 and played with other simulation settings in other material zones
Next I mixed a top from mega wardrobe and a skirt from the smart casual outfit set and added a leather shader from exotic leather shader presents 3 and adjusted the settings. I changed dForce settings by bumping GSM to 700 and reducing buckling ratio and turning up buckling stiffness
