Just a quick question, if I combine the Jolly coupon along with the free santa animation that also takes a percentage off my cart total, will I lose some of the Jolly discount because the free item?
No, because it's a percentage not an absolute amount (though when an item is free on the store page, rather than only in cart as a reward for something else, it doesn't usually cause issues for absolute amount coupons either)..
If you could buy a gift card with store credit, then by using it to buy a gift card at 30% off, then applying the credit, and then buying again, and then repeat as often as you can, you would soon have a huge amount of credit for only the outlay of your first gift card.
Oh man... Right in the wallet. Discounts galore today stacked up to basically 72% off the entire store, then using store credit from girft cards at another 30% off. 55 items in the cart by checkout time. Store was crawling trying to keep up.

It says Today Only, so I assumed it was a new one for today. Isn't that what that means? Anyway, the coupon didn't work for me today, so I guess Daz had a different idea of what today means.
I'm sorry, that sounded a bit harsh. I don't mean to sound upset, Daz and the PAs have been very generous this holiday season. I love Daz, and I know I'll spend all my holiday gift money here. I just get really confused and frusterated at the wording marketing uses. I used to work in retail, and if we put out a flyer or sign that said something was whatever% off, we had to honor it. Wording was VERY important. I guess maybe it's different online? I don't know, it just confuses me. I'm sorry.
The DAZ-CHRISTMAS coupon does say it's usable once per customer. I personally thought the wording was clear. The only issue being it was in the 'today only' section yesterday but is still available today, which is quite nice for people who were busy yesterday and not shopping online and so might have missed it. Thanks DAZ for the free item. I appreciate it.

Without MERRY-10, I get my loyality discount on the two debut new items, and the 30% on the gift card.
WITh the MERRY-10, I get: an extra 10% on the debut new items. BUT, the discount on the gift card drops, from 30% to 28%. So, no extra 10%, but a minus....
The small print does only exclude fastgrab items from the extra 10%
Wording should be very important for any business, offline or online. I thought the same thing, new day and a new code, so as to Cris asking the question, my answer is yes.

Due to the MERRY-10 discount, in order to obtain 30% off gift cards, you need to ensure that the value of the card (after the 10% off) is >$300 so your smallest gc amount should be about $334.
The GC should now be discounting correctly.
